Reports to (role): Architecture Sr Manager

Objective of the Role 

As a Principal Technical Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of complex architectures that drive our business forward. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are innovative, scalable, and secure. Your role will involve mentoring staff engineers and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will thrive in an autonomous work culture that encourages initiative and ownership, and you will embody our spin culture values, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. 

Main Responsibilities 

  1. Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain strategic enterprise architecture frameworks that align with long-term business goals. 
  2. Technical Leadership: Work with the senior leadership team to create the company technology strategy. Design, develop and implement scalable, maintainable software architectures.  
  3. Mentorship & Team Development: Provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to staff engineers and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Participate in design reviews, code reviews and in career development initiatives. 
  4. Agile Practices: Operate within an agile culture, implementing and managing chapters practice to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement. 
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic needs and translate them into technical solutions. 
  6. Innovation: Drive innovation in architecture and engineering practices, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. 
  7. Performance Optimization: Ensure systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. 
  8. Security and Compliance: Lead efforts to ensure solutions comply with the highest security standards and regulatory requirements. 
  9. Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation of architectures, processes, and standards. 
  10. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of solution delivery. 
  11. Training and Development: Conduct advanced training sessions for team members on new technologies and best practices. 
  12. Autonomous Work: Foster an autonomous work culture, encouraging initiative and ownership among team members. 
  13. Culture Ambassador: Promote and embody the company’s values, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. 
  14. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  15. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise and support. 
  16. KPI Accountability: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for architectural processes and initiatives. 
  17. Strategic Execution: Drive the strategic execution of architectural initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals. 
  18. People Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects and engineers, fostering professional growth and development. 
  19. Autonomous Work: Foster an autonomous work culture, encouraging initiative and ownership among team members. 
  20. Culture Ambassador: Promote and embody the company’s values, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. 
  21. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. 
  22. Business Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical expertise and support. 
  23. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the IT support team. 

Required Knowledge and Experience 

  1. Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  2. Experience: 15+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex large-scale enterprise projects. 
  3. Proven experience as a hands-on software architect with expertise in 
  4. Designing, coding and implementing scalable cloud native base architectures, including microservices, containerized and serverless applications. 
  5. Database Management (SQL / NoSQL) system performance optimization. 
  6. Frontend technologies for web and mobile applications 
  7. Automation testing and CI/CD pipeline implementation – experience in improving Secure-SDLC. 
  8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive innovation. 
  9. Expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and security protocols. 
  10. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and chapters practice. 
  11. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management. 
  12. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). 
  13. Strong experience with container orchestration and microservices architecture. 
  14. Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation. 
  15. Understanding of network protocols, security practices, and compliance requirements. 
  16. Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and other technical architects. 
  17. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  18. Experience in driving strategic initiatives and aligning them with business objectives. 
  19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  20. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  21. Excellent collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork. 
  22. High level of adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies. 
  23. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  24. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the fintech industry. 
  25. Certification in cloud platforms or enterprise architecture. 
  26. English Level: Advanced
