Objective of the Role
As a Principal Technical Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of complex architectures that drive our business forward. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are innovative, scalable, and secure. Your role will involve mentoring staff engineers and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will thrive in an autonomous work culture that encourages initiative and ownership, and you will embody our spin culture values, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain strategic enterprise architecture frameworks that align with long-term business goals.
- Technical Leadership: Work with the senior leadership team to create the company technology strategy. Design, develop and implement scalable, maintainable software architectures.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to staff engineers and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Participate in design reviews, code reviews and in career development initiatives.
- Agile Practices: Operate within an agile culture, implementing and managing chapters practice to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in architecture and engineering practices, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Security and Compliance: Lead efforts to ensure solutions comply with the highest security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation of architectures, processes, and standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of solution delivery.
- Training and Development: Conduct advanced training sessions for team members on new technologies and best practices.
- Autonomous Work: Foster an autonomous work culture, encouraging initiative and ownership among team members.

Required Knowledge and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex large-scale enterprise projects.
- Proven experience as a hands-on software architect with expertise in
- Designing, coding and implementing scalable cloud native base architectures, including microservices, containerized and serverless applications.
- Database Management (SQL / NoSQL) system performance optimization.
- Frontend technologies for web and mobile applications
- Automation testing and CI/CD pipeline implementation – experience in improving Secure-SDLC.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive innovation.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and security protocols.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and chapters practice.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong experience with container orchestration and microservices architecture.
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Understanding of network protocols, security practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and other technical architects.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in driving strategic initiatives and aligning them with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork.
- High level of adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the fintech industry.
- Certification in cloud platforms or enterprise architecture.
- English Level: Advanced
