Are you passionate about designing and optimizing observability solutions that drive system reliability and user experience? Join our Platform Engineering team as a Senior Observability Engineer and play a key role in transforming how we monitor, analyze, and improve our systems!

🎯 What You’ll Do:

✅ Provide technical leadership in observability, ensuring solutions align with business impact, system reliability, and user experience.
✅ Redesign and optimize alerting frameworks to ensure actionable, noise-free alerts tied to critical application flows.
✅ Lead the implementation and optimization of observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Opsgenie, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
✅ Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and security teams to embed observability into workflows and shift reliability ownership to service teams.
✅ Analyze observability data to identify trends, root causes, and performance bottlenecks, driving meaningful system improvements.
✅ Champion root cause analysis and long-term solutions over quick fixes.
✅ Develop and maintain clear, actionable dashboards for real-time system health visibility.
✅ Mentor engineering teams on instrumentation, telemetry, and observability best practices.
✅ Ensure observability data collection and access controls meet regulatory requirements.
✅ Continuously explore and implement new technologies to enhance observability capabilities.
✅ Contribute to the overall observability strategy, aligning with infrastructure, security, and engineering needs.
✅ Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and system ownership.

🎓 What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
🔹 7+ years of experience in observability or related fields.
🔹 Advanced knowledge of Java, Node.js, .NET, and scripting (Bash, Python).
🔹 Deep understanding of observability concepts (monitoring, logging, tracing).
🔹 Proficiency with advanced observability tools and platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
🔹 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
🔹 Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
🔹 English proficiency (Advanced).
