
Senior UX Researcher

Role Objective
At Spin, we are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to lead and elevate our user research practice, helping us build relevant, intuitive, and evidence-based digital financial experiences. This person will play a key role in deeply understanding our users, generating actionable insights, and directly contributing to the evolution of our products: payments, remittances, wallets, cards, and more. We seek someone with vision, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research, combining quantitative and qualitative methods to answer key business and product questions.
- Design and execute studies on user behaviors, needs, and motivations in financial services.
- Collaborate with product, design, technology, and data teams to define research questions and translate insights into decisions.
- Integrate data sources such as Mixpanel, product metrics, and behavioral analysis with tools like interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.
- Map journeys, mental models, and opportunities in collaboration with teams.
- Communicate findings clearly, strategically, and in an actionable way for different audiences.
- Define and monitor user-centered experience metrics.
- Mentor junior researchers and strengthen a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Propose new research approaches, act as a change agent, and position UX Research as a key practice within Spin.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in UX Research.
- Strong expertise in mixed methods (qual + quant), with a solid focus on quantitative analysis.
- Knowledge of tools like Maze, Figma, Miro, Mixpanel, Advanced Excel, or SQL (preferred).
- Background in consumer tech or high-impact digital products (not B2B).
- Familiarity with digital financial products such as payments, cards, and accounts.
- Ability to think in systems, identify patterns, and connect the dots.
- Proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Clear communication, empathy, and a collaborative mindset.
- Interest in building processes, advocating for UX Research, and taking it to the next level.
- Fluent in English.
