Objective of the Role
The IC3 DevOps Engineer is responsible for leading the enhancement and maintenance of deployment and operational processes of software applications. This semi-senior role focuses on implementing advanced DevOps practices, including automation, monitoring, CI/CD pipeline management, and incident response, while contributing to strategic initiatives and providing mentorship to junior team members.
Main Responsibilities
- Automation: Lead the development and maintenance of advanced automation scripts to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitoring: Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated monitoring solutions to ensure system performance and application health.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Lead the management and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Incident Response: Lead complex incident response activities, diagnosing and resolving critical issues.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support deployment and operational tasks.
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and system configurations.
- Mentorship: Provide advanced guidance and support to junior and mid-level DevOps engineers.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deployment and operational processes.
- Tool Utilization: Optimize and innovate the use of DevOps tools and platforms to support deployment and monitoring activities.
- Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving overall system reliability and performance.
- Autonomous Work Culture: Actively contribute to creating an autonomous work culture by taking initiative, being self-motivated, and collaborating effectively in an agile and lean environment.
- Spin Culture Ambassador: Embody and promote Spin's values in every action, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of DevOps concepts and practices.
- Proficiency with multiple scripting languages and automation tools.
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
- English Level: Intermediate to Advanced<
