Objective of the Role
Drive growth through user acquisition and engagement for our Financial Services business by leading end-to-end growth strategies—from opportunity identification to go-to-market execution. This role partners closely with Product squads and cross-functional teams —including Consumer Growth (Customer Journey, Marketing Ops, In-Store Ops), Data, Tech, and Operations— to shape value propositions, define roadmaps, evaluate business cases, and deliver measurable impact through data-informed decisions and coordinated execution across channels and touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Growth Initiatives & Use Cases: Define and execute growth strategies and high-impact use cases for Financial Services—including Spin by OXXO and Spin Premia integration, Wallet, Payments, Remittances, and more. Develop roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market plans to drive adoption across digital and in-store channels.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Execution & drive collaboration: Act as a strategic connector to align priorities and lead delivery across Financial Services, Consumer Growth, and other teams (Marketing, Ops, Product, and Tech. Remove blockers, adapt plans as needed, and ensure timely, high-impact execution.
- Track Performance & Manage OKRs: Monitor Financi)al Services OKRs and key metrics like WAU, transactions, and churn. Review performance regularly to ensure strategic alignment.
- Run Data-Driven Experiments: Design and scale experiments to validate hypotheses, uncover insights, and accelerate growth through data-informed decisions.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 4 years in roles combining analytical ability, management discipline, and creativity, preferably in Growth, Strategy, Operations, Marketing, Analytics, fintech, tech, retail, or consulting.
- Proven track record leading growth initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating stakeholders.
- Background in at least one of the following: B2C app projects, digitalization, strategic/digital consulting, digital product management, fintech or loyalty products, or data integration/analysis.
- Experience managing budgets and resource allocation focused on maximizing ROI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to synthesize information and adapt messaging for diverse audiences and channels.
- Strategic mindset with results orientation; skilled at planning, adapting, and communicating change effectively.
- Resilient and collaborative, with the ability to motivate and lead teams to success.
- Desirable: Proficient with marketing data and analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, BigQuery, Tableau, SQL, Google Analytics, or Python.
