Senior Staff Product Designer – Payments

Objective of the Role 

As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead the user experience and design strategy for our Payments vertical. Your mission is to craft solutions that address complex user challenges while aligning with business goals to deliver high-impact, seamless payment experiences. 

In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, product, data, growth, and marketing to shape digital payment products and services that create measurable value for both users and the business. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Define and champion the design, vision and strategy for digital payment experiences. 

• Lead the full design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivery. 

• Design intuitive user flows and interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives. 

• Ensure design quality, consistency, and accessibility across platforms. 

• Develop and maintain scalable design systems and pattern libraries. 

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to turn complex problems into elegant, user-centered solutions. 

• Provide mentorship and design leadership to peers and junior designers. 

Required Knowledge and Experience 

• 7+ years of experience in product design, service design, or UX, with significant exposure to payments or fintech. 

• Proven experience in leading complex design initiatives end-to-end. 

• Deep understanding of user-centered design, UX strategy, and interface design best practices. 

• Strong experience mentoring other designers and driving strategic conversations. 

• Excellent collaboration, storytelling, and problem-solving skills. 

• Comfort working in design tools and collaborating with tech stacks such as React, React Native, and Firebase.

• Skilled in conflict resolution, stakeholder negotiation, and collaboration.

• Intermediate English proficiency (spoken and written).
