Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver

As a Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, and delivered to support field teams and customer projects. This position combines inventory management with delivery responsibilities, requiring strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to execute logistics efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficient material flow
  • Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for projects, service calls, and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and locations within internal systems
  • Identify, report, and resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
  • Support cycle counts and full inventory audits

Order Fulfillment & Field Support

  • Stage and prepare materials aligned with project timelines and technician needs
  • Coordinate with procurement, project managers, and service teams on material readiness
  • Ensure kits and project packages are complete, accurate, and clearly labeled
  • Support urgent material requests with speed and accuracy

Delivery & Logistics Support

  • Execute deliveries to customer sites and job locations as needed
  • Load, secure, and transport materials safely to prevent damage
  • Follow assigned routes while maintaining punctual and professional service
  • Obtain delivery confirmations and communicate any issues to internal teams

Customer & Team Interaction

  • Represent the company professionally during deliveries and warehouse interactions
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding inventory status and delivery timing
  • Escalate issues quickly to minimize disruption to operations

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow OSHA safety protocols and warehouse best practices
  • Perform basic vehicle checks prior to deliveries
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and report issues promptly
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Valid New York State Driver’s License with a clean driving record (last 12 months)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks including loading/unloading materials
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems and delivery tracking
  • Ability to work independently while following schedules and processes
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions during deliveries
  • Must pass drug screening and background check per company policy
  • Reliable transportation for consistent attendance

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting construction, security integration, or technical field teams
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools
  • Experience with job staging, kitting, or project-based material coordination
  • Previous experience in warehouse, delivery, or logistics roles
  • Familiarity with GPS routing tools and handheld inventory scanners
  • Strong customer service skills and professional communication

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Combination of warehouse and field-based delivery work
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries
  • Standard schedule is Monday through Friday; flexibility may be required based on business needs
