Accounting & Contracts Manager

We are seeking a versatile Accounting & Contracts Manager to join our team. This hybrid role combines ownership of core accounting operations with responsibility for managing client and partner contracts. You will ensure financial integrity through accurate reporting, efficient AP/AR management, and tax compliance, while also overseeing contract renewals and supporting commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced growth environment, balancing hands-on accounting with cross-functional collaboration.

Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting
    • Own the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
    • Maintain the chart of accounts and manage expense categorization in NetSuite.
    • Support management reporting and ad hoc financial analysis.

  • AP/AR & Cash Management
    • Manage invoicing, collections, cash application, and payments.
    • Oversee bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
    • Ensure timely and accurate sales/use tax filings and other compliance obligations.

  • Contract Administration
    • Review, redline, and manage license agreements, renewals, SOWs, and modifications.
    • Partner with the Client Success team to streamline renewal workflows and ensure timely execution.
    • Coordinate with outside counsel as needed on legal terms.

  • Operational Support
    • Maintain organized financial and contract records.
    • Support audits and assist leadership with financial insights.
    • Provide occasional administrative support related to finance and contracts.

 Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
  • 5+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, reseller, or professional services environment.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite experience perferred.
  • Familiarity with contract review and renewal processes; experience collaborating with legal or client success teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with contract management tools a plus.
