Position Overview: 

The Senior Product Marketing Manager position is responsible for leading and owning our end to end go to market strategy, within a diverse global team. The Senior Product Marketing Manager position is responsible for leading and owning our end-to-end go-to-market strategy within a diverse global team.The Senior Product Marketing Manager shapes our portfolio strategy, emphasizes our digital influence and brings a voice to the customers of our organisation by influencing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels both internally and externally. This role focuses on Diligent's Compliance & Ethics solutions, shaping global strategy, positioning, and messaging to highlight the value of these offerings in the GRC marketplace. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create, implement and drive product marketing strategy for Diligent’s suite of product and service offerings, with a focus on Compliance & Ethics solutions.
  • Collaborate on product and feature launches by developing go-to-market strategies, messaging, and enablement plans.
  • Partner with product management to establish and manage user committees and steering committees.
  • Track and communicate competitive information, including competitor market moves, creating battle cards, and developing competitive positioning and messaging to influence campaigns and sales enablement.
  • Work closely with product and tech teams to create the vision for all products and influence the product roadmap.
  • Partner with regional sales managers to position products effectively during the sales process and identify opportunities to introduce sales enablement tools.
  • Champion the end user in product reviews and UX discussions, providing product marketing guidance and ensuring customer needs inform product decisions.
  • Create comprehensive toolkits for marketing, sales, and customer success teams for all product releases and launches, including messaging, positioning, and target segments by user persona.
  • Translate sales feedback into actionable product requirements and translate product team materials into actionable communications for commercial teams.
  • Lead enablement sessions and energize the commercial team to sell core and emerging Compliance & Ethics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain an acute understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and trends within the Compliance & Ethics domain.
  • Create and implement content and strategies to educate internal and external audiences about Diligent’s offerings.

 

Required Experience/Skills 

 

  • 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably within compliance, ethics, and corporate integrity space.
  • You will have a strong understanding of SaaS-based solutions and product marketing best practices and have a passion for technology.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling messaging and positioning strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive adoption.
  • Demonstrated success in managing product launches, including go-to-market strategies and enablement plans.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and editorial skills to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Acute understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and trends within the Compliance & Ethics domain.
  • Strong focus on the ‘why’ behind strategic decisions to ensure initiatives align with organizational goals and market demands.
  • Exceptional storytelling and positioning skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to execute on product marketing strategies effectively.
  • Positive, energetic attitude with strong initiative and work ethic.
  • A proven track record of writing performance-driven product marketing plans that translate into measurable adoption results.
  • Strong project management skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
