Position Overview:
The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for driving new client acquisition and ongoing account management for Diligent’s suite of GRC solutions within a defined territory (“land” role focused on new business). This role combines prospecting, consultative sales, pipeline management, and customer engagement, serving as a key contributor to revenue growth and the expansion of Diligent’s presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales process for Diligent’s SaaS GRC solutions, from initial prospecting and discovery through negotiation, closing, and post-sale handover.
- Consistently achieve (or exceed) annual and quarterly sales targets as set by sales management
- Prospect for new business and develop relationships with decision-makers in target enterprises within assigned territory.
- Conduct effective needs analysis and develop value-based proposals tailored to unique customer requirements.
- Demonstrate Diligent solutions via presentations, storytelling, and product demos.
- Prioritize and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene, ensuring all pipeline activities, customer data, and forecasting are accurately captured in Diligent’s CRM platform
- Follow established sales methodologies (including MEDDICC) and Diligent’s defined sales process to manage pipeline and progress deals efficiently.
- Demonstrate adaptability to change and agility in evolving sales processes, products, and customer needs.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including BDRs, marketing, legal, security, customer success, and implementation partners.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline metrics, lead generation activities, and sales forecasts to management.
Required Experience/Skills
- 6+ years of successful enterprise, SaaS selling experience, including ownership and achievement of annual sales targets
- Proven hunter mindset, with a demonstrated ability to proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within a defined territory.
- Strong business storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization, self-awareness, and customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator software and data hygiene best practices.
- Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar sales qualification frameworks.

$86,000 - $129,000 USD
