Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance and Ethics Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about building and assessing effective compliance programs, shaping policies, and driving ethical business practices across a variety of industries.
As a Compliance and Ethics Consultant, you will conduct risk and program assessments, support the development of policies and training, and provide strategic compliance guidance to clients. You will also contribute to thought leadership initiatives such as webinars, whitepapers, and blog posts. This role may require participation in proposal meetings and support in crafting winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive compliance and ethics risk assessments for clients across various industries.
- Program Assessments: Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compliance programs and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Policy Development: Draft, review, and revise corporate compliance policies, codes of conduct, and related documents.
- Training Development: Design and develop engaging compliance and ethics training materials (both online and instructor-led).
- Advisory Services: Provide expert guidance to clients on a wide range of compliance topics, including regulatory requirements, investigations, and program implementation.
- Thought Leadership:

- Author blog posts, articles, and whitepapers on current trends and best practices in compliance and ethics.

- Serve as a presenter or panelist on webinars and industry events.
- Proposal Development:

- Participate in proposal meetings with potential clients.

- Assist in drafting and refining compliance-related content for proposals.
- Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with clients through consistent delivery of high-quality work and subject matter expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act, DOJ Guidance).
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including public speaking or webinar presentation experience.
- Strong project management and client relationship skills.
- Experience developing policies and training programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
U.S pay range
$152,000 - $195,000 USD

If you are within a commuting distance to one of our Diligent office locations, you will be expected to work onsite at least 50% of the time.
