SE II - Backend (Node.js+AWS+AI Basic)
Here’s a summary of the role:
You’ll build scalable web applications and serverless microservices using Node.js, React, and AWS, while working with modern AI tools to code smarter and faster. If you enjoy solving real-world problems, writing clean code, and exploring how AI can improve development workflows, this role gives you the space to grow and make an impact.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (the important stuff):
- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Node.js (TypeScript)
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js
- Work with AWS services to design and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and performance improvements
- Use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate development, debugging, and research
- Collaborate with engineers to improve architecture, reliability, and development practices
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- 4–6 years of experience in software development in an agile environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (TypeScript) and building APIs
- Practical exposure to AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
- Good understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and using AI tools for development
- Understanding of LLM concepts (tokens, embeddings, prompt engineering)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively with teams
It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Solid experience in React.js for frontend development
- Experience with Docker or container-based workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK)
