THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results driven eCommerce Manager to lead our development team to ensure site performance, online sales growth, and enhanced customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of eCommerce strategies, digital marketing, and analytics to drive traffic and conversions across our online platform. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills who can effectively collaborate with other internal teams as well as 3 rd party vendors to achieve our business objectives. This is a highly technical position and will require the candidate to work with both front end and back end developers on a daily basis.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage both new development and maintenance of the website, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the onsite Quality Assurance team responsible for testing all changes performed by the development team.
  • Implement comprehensive eCommerce strategies to increase online sales and improve customer experience.
  • Regularly evaluate site performance to ensure the site is performing optimally.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to keep Dillard’s at the forefront of innovation.
  • Analyze website traffic and customer behavior using analytics tools to improve site conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience team to address pain points and improve the site.
  • Make recommendations for and conduct regular A/B testing to identify areas for improvement and report on those results.
  • Work closely with SEO agencies to develop and implement strategies to improve the organic rankings and search traffic.
  • Conduct disciplinary reviews and/or terminations as needed.

 

THE "MUST-HAVES"

  • Minimum of 5+ years as an eCommerce Manager.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years experience working in eCommerce or digital technology at a premier retailer or agency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Calm, clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and performance analytics tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of SEO techniques and best practices.
