POSITION OVERVIEW:

This newly created position will support the day-to-day operations of our corporate technology, infrastructure, and end-user environment. Reporting to the IT Senior Manager, this role will work closely with our MSP to ensure seamless end-user computing experiences across laptops, audio-visual systems, the M365 suite, security infrastructure, and other key applications.

The position follows a hybrid schedule, with three days onsite in our Watertown office and two days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support to our end-user community and consultant network as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to networks, applications, and operating systems (Windows 11/Intune and iOS).
  • SharePoint Administration including access requests and permissions management.
  • On-Site A/V meeting support (8 conference rooms) including cloud management, device updates (MS Teams), and AV vendor support requests.
  • Provision and maintain IT equipment for our employees and contractors, such as laptops, printers, scanners, etc.
  • Participate in the day-to-day monitoring and operational support of security solution hardware, software, managed solutions, and service provider relationships.
  • Participate in improving our infrastructure, processes, procedures, and information security program.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide recommendations for enhancing our service offerings and infrastructure. 

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5–7 years of professional IT support and systems administration experience.
  • Experience with the Microsoft M365 suite, Intune, SharePoint, and MS Teams administration.
  • Experience with identity management solutions like Active Directory, SSO, and MFA.
  • Understanding of Networking fundamentals and security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Flexible, versatile, and willing to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, growing environment.
  • Experience working with an IT MSP or similar outsourced IT service provider is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and associated systems. ITIL certification is a plus.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, AZ-900, AZ-104) or equivalent are preferred
  • Experience in the life sciences industry preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rates are determined by considering multiple factors including qualifications, relevance of experience, education & credentials, subject matter expertise, and internal parity.

Salary Range

$119,000 - $161,000 USD
