As our Senior Product Design Manager, you will report to the Senior Director of Product Design and lead a cross-functional team of product designers and user researchers. You are a strategic design leader who excels at defining what’s next, setting a long-term vision, and breaking that vision into clear, achievable steps teams can execute over time.

You bring a strong product mindset and consistently find the right balance between user value and business impact. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, creating clarity and alignment across partners, and guiding teams toward focused, high-impact outcomes. You lead with empathy and accountability, holding a high bar for quality while enabling teams to do their best work across the full product lifecycle.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Set and own the design vision for your product area, aligning user needs, business goals, and long-term platform strategy
  • Lead, grow, and hire for a team of 3–5 designers and researchers, building a balanced, high-performing team to support current and future goals
  • Guide teams in solving complex product problems, helping them create intuitive user flows and systems grounded in user insight, business constraints, and technical realities
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, data science, and research leadership to shape strategy, define priorities, and drive aligned execution across the product lifecycle
  • Hold the team accountable to outcomes, ensuring design work contributes meaningfully to team goals and broader company objectives
  • Lead teams through phased execution, from early exploration and definition through launch, iteration, and scaling
  • Evolve team processes, rituals, and operating rhythms to create clarity, focus, and sustainable delivery
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback and foster strong critique practices, building a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Represent design at a strategic level, communicating clearly with peers and executives to drive alignment and decision-making

What you should have

  • 10+ years of experience in product design, UX, or related disciplines, with experience working on consumer, platform, or B2B products
  • 4+ years of management experience, including leading product strategists, designers, and/or user researchers, with a track record of growing talent and building strong, effective teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, aligning cross-functional partners around shared goals and clear decision-making
  • Strong product thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex business and user problems into clear strategic direction
  • Experience setting long-term vision and guiding teams through multi-phase execution toward that vision
  • Excellent communication skills, with comfort presenting to and partnering with senior and executive stakeholders
  • A leadership style rooted in clarity, empathy, and accountability, balancing support with high expectations

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000 to $306,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
