Purpose
The Facilities Manager is a pivotal leadership role within our manufacturing production environment, responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of facilities and facility-related equipment. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Facilities, this position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee a team. The applicant will play a critical role in maintaining the organization's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring compliance with various industry standards (OSHA, State, Local, ISO14001/45001, AS9100D and IATF16949), and driving continuous facility improvement initiatives.
The Role
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure optimal operation, safety, and appearance.
- Coordinate or perform preventative maintenance on facilities equipment.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to keep equipment operational.
- Oversee the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Manage and oversee Sr. Maintenance Technician and Facilities Technician.
- Manage and oversee contractors for professional repairs, ensuring quality service, timely response, and fair pricing through effective negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing corrective measures to address them promptly.
- Administration of CMMS system.
- Prepare and adhere to budgets.
- Prepare and present reports and maintain KPI’s.
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- 5 years in a Manufacturing related Facilities/Maintenance field.
- Proven maintenance experience in a Manufacturing production environment.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, JIRA, Confluence, and other online tools.
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines, equipment, or devices to replace defective parts or make adjustments.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary for maintenance tasks and creating PM’s, PdM’s, and spare parts inventories.
- Proficiency in using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices for diagnostics.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management experience to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution of maintenance issues.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage maintenance schedules effectively.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough inspections and repairs.
- Professional demeanor and presentation when interacting with colleagues and contractors.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining focus on tasks.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize maintenance activities effectively.
- Comfortable with a flexible work schedule, including occasional nights and weekends based on business needs or emergencies.
- Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years in a Manufacturing related Facilities/Maintenance field.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Journeyman experience in a relevant trade.
- Site Physical Security.
- BOMA FMC or SMC
- ISO14001/45001, AS9100D/ISO9001 and IATF16949 accredited facility experience.

Pay Range
$114,320 - $157,200 USD
