Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Advance Manufacturing Coordinator to provide both tactical scheduling support and long-range production planning expertise for our advance manufacturing team. This role drives schedule accuracy and operational efficiency by aligning inputs from Factory Flow Specialists to ensure on-time delivery of machined hardware thru assembly, & inspection. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in MRP/MES systems, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and thrives in dynamic, high-volume production environments.
The Role
- Provide scheduling expertise for machining, inspection, and assembly work centers to support forecasted build plans and production readiness.
- Develop and maintain work center schedules specifically for machined parts, in-process inspection, assembly, & final inspection operations.
- Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for these critical work centers, ensuring alignment with programs team and Factory Flow specialist.
- Actively host daily production standups and cross-functional readiness meetings to communicate status, resolve blockers, and adjust work center priorities.
- Proactively push/pull jobs within machining, inspection, and assembly phases to reduce WIP stagnation and to meet build targets.
- Validate that Material Requirements Planning (MRP) dates reflect actual shop floor conditions, making corrections with Factory Flow Specialist to avoid misalignment in machining and downstream processes.
- Help Investigate part shortages and labor constraints impacting these work centers; coordinate with planning, factory flow specialist, and manufacturing engineering to resolve gaps.
- Provide schedule visibility and performance updates to shop leads and senior leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities within assigned work centers.
- Support the development and implementation of tools to improve real-time tracking, capacity planning, and resource forecasting in machining, inspection, and assembly.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve product quality, throughput, and efficiency within the focused work centers.
- Identify and execute flow improvements across machining and assembly areas to streamline operations and reduce WIP.
- Clearly communicate daily execution priorities to machine shop, inspectors, and assembly supervisors to maintain alignment with production goals.
- Determine and coordinate interim shift schedules to support build plans and labor coverage, in partnership with supervisors.
- Lead efforts to organize and implement 5S principles and support Kaizen events within production work centers.
- Organize and help stand up new machining and production work centers, including layout planning, process sequencing, and resource coordination
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export control
- 10+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in aerospace or high-complexity manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP and MES systems
- Expertise in production planning, forecasting, and schedule optimization
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet), JIRA, and Confluence
- Ability to navigate and influence in cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, production, quality)
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens NX PLM and master BOM conversion (eBOM to mBOM)
- Track record of improving on-time delivery, reducing schedule variance, and driving systemic improvements

Pay Range
$110,160 - $151,470 USD
