Purpose

Divergent Technologies, Inc. is a leader in engineering design and manufacturing, specializing in the production of structural components for the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. We are looking for a Manager/Sr. Manager, Enterprise Applications to lead the development, configuration, and customization of our enterprise software applications, including but not limited to PLM, ERP, MES, CRM, and more. This role will ensure our enterprise ecosystem supports the company’s growth and operational goals while introducing new capabilities and optimizing performance, efficiency, and user experience across business, engineering, manufacturing, and operations functions.  

The Role

Enterprise System Engineering Management  

  • Execute a comprehensive strategy for our enterprise software landscape, covering PLM, ERP, MES, CRM, SCM, WMS, CMMS, QMS, MRP, CAD, and other key systems, in close connection with the Digital Transformation initiative. 
  • Oversee the customization, enhancement, and maintenance of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM and Oracle Fusion Cloud systems, ensuring it meets specific business process needs and supporting integrations with the Data Integration and Analytic team 
  • Develop robust application and system requirements with deep stakeholder alignment, forming the foundation for scalable and successful project execution across engineering, operations, and manufacturing. 
  • Lead the migration and transition to new system solutions, aligning enterprise software with business growth and mitigating business risks derived from Digital Transformation.  
  • Manage software vendors: initiate contact, coordinate demos and quotes, evaluate alternative solutions, negotiate licenses and contracts with supply chain, and ensure alignment with business needs and budget. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve business process development, enterprise system literacy and training/onboarding of new employees 

Team Leadership & Collaboration  

  • Lead and manage the ERP, PLM, MES support and development teams, including developers, engineers, system administrators and project managers, as the team scales to meet business needs. 
  • Mentor and guide team members to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring their professional growth both internal to the systems teams and across to Data, IT, Software and the rest of the business. 
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and manufacturing leaders to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize projects across departments, in alignment to sprints and pillar objectives. 

 Compliance & Process Optimization  

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors.  
  • Drive the integration of enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and optimal system performance.  

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computational science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, finance, supply chain, engineering in other related field. 
  • 3+ years of leadership experience. 
  • Proven experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary technical teams, including PLM, ERP, MES, and other enterprise software solutions.  
  • Expertise in stakeholder alignment and requirements definition. 
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM, including Active Workspace configurations, customization, integration, and system upgrades.  
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including its configurations, modules, user role administration, and OIC integration. 
  • Deep understanding of engineering design and manufacturing processes, and their integration with enterprise software systems.  
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively.  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Siemens OpCenter, Mendix 
  • Background in automotive, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments

Compensation

At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels M06 - M07 as evaluated through our interview process. 

  • M06 Manager: $142,900 - $196,500
  • M07 Senior Manager: $165,800 - $227,950

Pay Range

$142,900 - $227,950 USD
