Join us at DKB Code Factory as a Mid-Level iOS Developer where your work will shape how users interact with their finances, ensuring secure, smooth, and delightful mobile experiences.

{ your_responsibilities: [

  • Design, implement and maintain high-quality iOS features with a focus on usability, performance, and security. 
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features: from translating designs into reusable components to testing, releases support and post release monitoring. 
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, Web and Android team counterparts to ensure platform consistency and technically feasible solutions. 
  • Apply Swift best practices and modern iOS patterns (Swift Concurrency, MVVMC, Combine) to scale the codebase and reduce technical debt. 
  • Contribute to our internal design system by building accessible UI components compliant with Human Interface Guidelines and WCAG. 
  • Improve engineering productivity and quality through enhancements to CI/CD, testing, and developer workflows

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [

  • Strong experience with Swift, Xcode, and shipping production iOS apps using SwiftUI and/or UIKit. 
  • Practical knowledge of concurrency patterns (Swift Concurrency / Combine) and architecture patterns such as MVVMC.
  • Experience writing unit and UI tests with XCTest / Swift testing frameworks and delivering reliable test suites for CI.
  • Track record of translating design system specifications into reusable UI components and ensuring accessibility.
  • Familiarity with JSON APIs and integrating with backend contracts.
  • Comfortable working in English within a hybrid Berlin setup and collaborating across distributed, crossfunctional teams.
  • Nice to have: exposure to GitLab CI, experience in regulated/financial contexts (privacy/compliance considerations such as GDPR/PSD2), and crossplatform alignment experience.
