Overview The CM/ILS Program is seeking a qualified Systems Analyst who brings experience with Microsoft Power Apps and knowledge of defense life-cycle logistics for complex electronic and C4ISR systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI development, with a proven ability to analyze technical data and system specifications to ensure effective and compliant logistics solutions. This individual will support end-to-end life cycle management activities, including provisioning, maintenance planning, engineering change management, and configuration control, while collaborating across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and program stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate strong familiarity with Navy logistics processes and systems, and the ability to develop, manage, and execute logistics plans, training materials, and sustainment documentation to ensure operational readiness and mission success. Responsibilities Maintain and continue development of MS Power Apps tools used to support SSEE ILS functions Provide part/provisioning research for fleet support cases. Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens. Should have experience in computer-aided drafting (CAD), the ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods. Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools such as CMPro, MS Power Apps, Excel, and Power Query to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate and automated reports. Overview Ready to put your CANES experience to work in a role that directly impacts fleet readiness? DLH is hiring a CANES SME (Engineering Technician IV) to join our team onsite at Naval Station Norfolk, supporting TACNET modernization through the development of training aligned to the latest CANES baseline. In this role, you will transform system updates, configuration changes, and fleet requirements into practical training products used across the Navy. Success requires strong shipboard network expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate real-world system administration experience into effective training. Responsibilities Review system updates and configuration changes to ensure the curriculum aligns with the latest CANES fleet baseline. Develop, update, and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, presentation materials, and practical lab exercises. Apply structured training development processes, including the Instructional System Design methodology, to define requirements and establish learning objectives. Utilize Navy authoring tools such as CPM/LOM and AIM to develop and manage curriculum. Ensure training materials accurately reflect real-world system administration practices and fleet operational standards. Support pilot courses and fleet training events. Qualifications This position is governed by Service Contract Labor Standards and must meet the minimum personnel qualification requirements identified in the contract. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting one or more of the following Navy systems: Tactical Network (TACNET) Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS/COMPOSE) Other comparable Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems Education/Technical Training: Must meet one of the following: Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Science, or another related technical field; or Completion of formal electronics training from an accredited technical school, U.S. military Class A or Class B electronics/communications school, or a four-year electronics apprenticeship program; or High School diploma or GED. Overall Relevant Experience: In addition to the specialized C4I systems experience above, candidates must possess: Five (5) years of professional engineering technician or electronics systems experience if qualifying with an Associate's degree or formal technical training (Completion of formal electronics training from an accredited technical school, U.S. military Class A or Class B electronics/communications school, or a four-year electronics apprenticeship program); or Seven (7) years of professional engineering technician or electronics systems experience if qualifying with a High School diploma or GED. Demonstrated experience in the design, development, testing, analysis, modification, and documentation of engineering systems, equipment, devices, or components, including preparation and modification of engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical reports. Experience analyzing technical data, developing design solutions, conducting and evaluating tests, troubleshooting equipment performance issues, and recommending or implementing design improvements. Experience supporting fleet sustainment, Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), In-Service Engineering Activities (ISEAs), or similar Navy technical organizations. Experience developing training materials, SOPs, technical guides, or configuration documentation. Familiarity with Navy training development processes or structured curriculum development. Overview The Scientific Programmer supports the National Institute on Aging (NIA) IT Division by developing custom applications, systems, and unique technologies that are critical in the performance of scientific research. Operating within a DevSecOps-based Agile development methodology, the Scientific Programmer works closely with clinicians, research technicians, scientists, and vendors to deliver robust, secure, and compliant software solutions that support clinical data collection, management, and integration across NIA IRP sites. This position requires deep expertise in clinical data standards, including HL7, DICOM, and PACS protocols, as well as proficiency across multiple database platforms and programming languages. The Scientific Programmer plays a critical role in ensuring that clinical IT systems support the continuity, integrity, and security of NIA's research operations. Compensation: $115,000 - $120,000 yearly salary The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting.
