Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the technical development and design of a range of architectural projects, from initial planning through to construction documentation. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, creative design solutions that align with project goals, schedules, and budgets.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to the design and coordination of small to large-scale architectural projects.
- Apply advanced architectural concepts and techniques to develop creative design solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
- Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure design intent is translated effectively into detailed drawings and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to resolve design and technical issues.
- Apply and uphold quality assurance/quality control standards and industry best practices.
- Lead or participate in client presentations and design discussions.
- Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and adhere to project BIM standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant architectural experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam; strong ability to work with other standard architecture software.
- Strong technical design skills, with the ability to contribute to creative and sustainable design solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly in written, verbal, and visual formats.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED AP or other sustainability-related certification.
- Experience coordinating large, complex architectural projects.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and integrated project delivery methods.
- Strong interest in innovation, sustainability, and continuous learning.
- Experience contributing to marketing or business development initiatives.
