Position Summary:
At DLR Group as a Project Scheduler you are critical to supporting successful project delivery, serving as the backbone of planning and coordination across the team. In this critical project controls role, you’ll develop, manage, and maintain detailed resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and workflow management tools that keep complex projects on track. Partnering closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget while facilitating clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders. You’ll monitor progress, anticipate challenges, and proactively identify scheduling risks and mitigation strategies to keep work moving forward. By aligning timelines with project goals and resource availability, as a Project Scheduler plays an essential role in ensuring each project’s success—from planning through completion.

What you will do:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, durations, assigned resources, and milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and other stakeholders to gather accurate information and ensure the schedule reflects the complete scope of project activities.
- Track project progress, update schedules regularly, and ensure changes are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform critical path analyses to identify key tasks, potential delays, and schedule impacts.
- Proactively identify and mitigate scheduling risks to maintain project timelines and budget integrity.
- Advise project teams of potential risks, delays, or conflicts, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Adjust schedules as necessary to keep projects on track and minimize exposure to risk.
- Integrate internal project schedules with design and construction partner schedules across a variety of contract types and delivery models.
- Support project teams in allocating and managing resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Provide schedule inputs for revenue projections, Planifi workplans, INDEPRO tracking, and quality control (QC) reviews.
- Communicate schedule updates, changes, and key insights clearly and proactively to all stakeholders.
- Prepare and present schedule reports to project teams and leadership, including financial and resource projections based on resource-loaded schedules.
- Support business development initiatives by preparing proposed schedules and contributing to RFQ, RFP, and interview processes as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Construction Industry, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience
- High proficiency in scheduling tool, preferably Microsoft Project
- Dynamic and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works effectively across multidisciplinary teams, and adapts well to shifting priorities and ambiguity.
- Highly organized and proactive, with strong time management skills to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail
- Proven understanding of project management principles, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of overall experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
- Professional licensure or certification preferred but not required.

The suggested pay range for this position is:

$80,000 - $110,000 USD
