Our marketing team is seeking a Communications Coordinator with a passion for storytelling, design, and brand building to support marketing and pursuit efforts across our firm. This role could be based in the following cities:

Position Summary
The Communications Coordinator supports Marketing and Pursuit teams in developing on-brand, high-quality marketing and proposal materials. As an emerging storyteller and design thinker, you’ll create written, print, and digital content that contributes to marketing campaigns, proposals, and pursuit deliverables.
This role offers the opportunity to develop foundational marketing skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while gaining exposure to the full marketing ecosystem of a global design firm.
What you will do:
- Support the development of pursuit deliverables, including statements of qualification, requests for proposal responses, and interview materials.
- Contribute to sector marketing initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic plan, such as multi-channel campaigns, award submissions, project storytelling, and marketing asset management.
- Write and edit copy for proposals, collateral, and digital platforms that communicate DLR Group’s expertise and brand voice.
- Execute layout and design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite to produce visually engaging materials.
- Participate in quality control reviews to ensure all materials meet DLR Group’s brand standards.
- Develop a strong understanding of DLR Group’s capabilities, differentiators, and markets to support effective storytelling.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in a marketing, brand, or communications role (AEC or design industry preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and storytelling.
- Strong organization and time management skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience contributing to RFQ/RFP or marketing proposal materials.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and media formats.
- Interest in design, architecture, and the built environment.
- Ability to think critically and creatively about messaging, layout, and visual presentation.

The suggested pay range for this position is:
Pay Range
$48,000 - $60,000 USD
