Title: Revenue Operations Specialist

Team: Operations

Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Starting Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 base salary

DocNetwork is on a mission to help youth-serving organizations run safer, more efficient programs. As we scale, so must the systems and data infrastructure powering our go-to-market teams. You’ll be the person who builds that infrastructure.

As our first dedicated Revenue Operations hire, you’ll sit at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Client Experience, designing and maintaining the automations, workflows, and data pipelines that keep our client journey running smoothly from first touch to long-term retention. You’ll turn operational needs into scalable solutions.

To be effective in this role, you'll need to be strong across three core pillars: Process (designing and tuning the end-to-end client journey to eliminate bottlenecks and increase speed), Technology (managing our go-to-market tech stack to create a single source of truth for all revenue data), and Data (turning raw data into insights that guide strategy and drive better decisions across the board).

This is a builder role. You’ll work with the CEO and team leaders to provide input on strategy and priorities and you will execute those priorities with exceptional attention to detail, connect the dots across tools and teams, and help everyone move faster. That means you’ll be a shared resource, and part of your value will be your ability to triage, prioritize, and communicate clearly about the progress of your projects.

This role will evolve significantly as DocNetwork grows and as AI-assisted workflows become a bigger part of how we operate. If you’re energized by ambiguity, genuinely excited when things run without manual effort, and want to grow into broader ownership of our tech stack, this is the role for you.

You may be a good fit for this role if:

  • You’re a self-starting problem-solver who’s excited to design, build, and iterate on automated systems.
  • You've worked in SaaS and understand how Marketing, Sales and Client Experience teams operate and interact.
  • You care deeply about clean data and see data governance as an ongoing discipline, not just a cleanup task.
  • You’re comfortable working autonomously and prioritizing multiple competing requests from different stakeholders.
  • You think in systems (automations, triggers, feedback loops) and get genuinely excited when something runs without manual effort.
  • You stay current on AI capabilities and know how to apply them practically, not just theoretically.

Responsibilities

Systems & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain automated workflows across our tech stack (HubSpot, Zendesk, Gong, Salesforce, Zapier, and others) that improve team efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Proactively audit workflows across teams and use data to identify high-volume / high-friction, repetitive tasks that are candidates for automation; maintain a running backlog of automation opportunities to recommend to stakeholders.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing leaders to optimize lead flow processes, including capture, enrichment, scoring, routing, and handoff between Marketing and Sales.
  • Maintain lifecycle stage definitions and ensure consistent application across CRM and all integrated tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the operational connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and Client Experience, translating team needs into workflow solutions.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder touchpoints to discuss priorities, align on upcoming projects, communicate system changes and report on progress.
  • Support onboarding of team members onto new tools and workflows.

Data & Reporting

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all systems; serve as the steward of a single source of truth for revenue data.
  • Work with leadership to build and maintain dashboards and reports that give visibility into pipeline health, retention, and client engagement metrics.
  • Support revenue forecasting and pipeline review processes in partnership with Sales and Client Success, ensuring data accuracy and model integrity.

Technology & Tools

  • Oversee operational health of the revenue tech stack, troubleshooting issues, managing system connections, and proactively identifying improvements.
  • Stay current on emerging tools, AI capabilities, and automation best practices relevant to SaaS operations and share findings with the broader team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated successful experience in operations, sales ops, or client experience within a SaaS company, with exposure across multiple GTM functions.
  • Hands-on experience building automations and AI-assisted workflows using low- or no-code platforms (Zapier, n8n, Clay, or similar).
  • Experience with CRM, Customer Success, Sales, and Support tech platforms (HubSpot and Salesforce experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and prompt engineering; able to apply AI tools practically to real workflow problems.
  • Proven ability to independently manage and prioritize competing requests from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong capacity to clearly articulate prioritization rationale, manage expectations, and drive consensus across teams without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective, scalable solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Excited? We can’t wait to hear from you!

If you like what you’ve seen so far, we feel compelled to boast that:

  • We’re 10x recipients of SPARK’s FastTrack Award.
  • We have an office dog named Munki. He is soft and little.
  • Our office pantry is stocked with delicious snacks.
  • We made our boss a Paper Plate Award that says “You’re pretty cool” and it has frog stickers on it.

So throw your hat in the ring – we’d love to meet you!

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
