NetSuite Consultant - 6-month Contractor

Our NetSuite Consultant (6-month Contractor), will be an integral part of our global Finance organization. This role is based remotely in Israel.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a highly experienced NetSuite consultant to support post-implementation optimization and process stabilization for a global company. You will have responsibilities for ensuring the smooth Netsuite integration. 

Responsibilities

  • Streamline and optimize NetSuite configurations aligned with IFRS and global accounting standards.
  • Act as the NetSuite subject matter expert (SME) to troubleshoot, advise, and improve system functionality.
  • Ensure the platform supports ongoing SOX compliance, multi-subsidiary consolidations, and global reporting standards.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to internal finance and operations teams.
  • Deliver measurable improvements to data accuracy, reporting timelines, and system adoption.
  • Lead gap analyses between current NetSuite setup and best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, IT, and audit teams to remediate pain points.
  • Communicate proactively with U.S.-based stakeholders clearly articulating project updates, blockers, and proposals.
  • Translate complex NetSuite configurations into actionable insights and documentation for internal teams.
  • 100% audit readiness for key workflows and transactions.
  • NetSuite reporting outputs aligned with U.S. public company requirements (SOX, SEC).
  • Increased user satisfaction and adoption among accounting and FP&A teams.
  • Documented process flows and system configurations delivered before end of contract.
  • Improve the current process with automation tools.
  • Recommend future enhancements that integrate well with NetSuite for our planning and analytics layer (e.g. Vena), operational AP and spend management platform (e.g. Ramp) and a close management systems such as Blackline.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Based in Israel but fluent in U.S/ global accounting practices, crucially with experience working at or with a U.S. public company.
  • A strong independent contractor who thrives in an autonomous, results-driven environment.
  • Flexible with hours to ensure U.S. stakeholder engagement and cross-time zone collaboration.
  • Values clarity, accountability, and high standards. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of NetSuite consulting and system optimization experience
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, SOX compliance, and multi-entity accounting
  • Proven post-implementation support and troubleshooting success
  • Good communication skills in English and excellent documentation skills
  • Experienced with NetSuite integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Coupa, Avalara, or FloQast) - an advantage
