Technical Trainer - Japan

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Technical Trainer in Japan at Domo, you will play a critical role in delivering technical product training to a variety of audiences including customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. You will help drive adoption, engagement, and product expertise by delivering high-quality, localized training programs that empower users across the Japanese market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver engaging and readily available training contents—both in-person and virtual—on Domo’s platform and tools;
• Create and maintain localized training content including presentations, hands-on exercises, user guides, and e-learning modules;
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to stay current on new features and product capabilities;
• Tailor training programs to different audiences, such as end-users, analysts, developers, and administrators;
• Deliver custom trainings to customers having specific requirements;
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and performance data; iterate to improve outcomes;
• Manage LMS platform, operations related to trainees and courses;
• Administration of training environments;
• Collaborate with HQ to understand new courses and trends;
• Be an evaluator for certification examinations provided by Domo.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience delivering technical training or enablement in a SaaS or technology company;
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English required;
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts;
• Proven experience developing training materials in Japanese;
• Experience of RDBMS, Data processing concepts;
• Familiarity with modern BI tools;
• Experience with LMS platforms, e-learning content development, and training measurement techniques;
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
