COMPANY OVERVIEW

Domo puts data to work to help everyone multiply their impact. Domo gives every kind of user real-time insights they can act on, with secure, easy-to-use, AI-powered data experience that drive a culture of data curiosity.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a strategic technical advisor and subject matter expert in cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery. Working alongside Domo’s account teams, you will lead the technical strategy and execution for customer opportunities that involve integrating Domo with modern cloud data ecosystems. You will leverage deep knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, ELT/ETL processes, and the broader modern data stack to design seamless end-to-end solutions that maximize customer value.

In this role you will also collaborate closely with partner technical teams to co-sell, co-design, and co-deliver joint solutions that highlight Domo's unique capabilities on top of the customer's existing cloud data infrastructure. Your expertise will help differentiate Domo in the market, accelerate deal cycles, and establish trust with both customers and strategic partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Snowflake, Databricks, and/or BigQuery to support integration, architecture design, and advanced customer use cases involving Domo on top of these platforms;
  • Collaborate with Cloud Data Platform partners (e.g., AEs and SEs at Snowflake, Databricks, or GCP) in joint selling motions, co-branded presentations, and solution alignment;
  • Architect Domo deployments that complement a customer's existing cloud data ecosystem, with particular emphasis on data ingestion, ELT strategies, data federation, and semantic modeling;
  • Design and deliver tailored demos and proof-of-concepts that showcase Domo’s interoperability with customer investments in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery;
  • Bridge the knowledge gap for generalist SEs and AEs, providing enablement and mentoring on technical integrations with cloud data platforms;
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on modern data architecture topics, including data lakehouse, medallion architecture, open table formats, zero-copy cloning, streaming ingestion, and workload separation;
  • Influence product direction and partner integrations by providing feedback from the field on key enterprise integration challenges or enhancement opportunities;
  • Evangelize best practices for building analytics workflows across Domo and partner platforms using native connectors, JDBC/ODBC, API integrations, and external data shares;
  • Support partner enablement and field training initiatives, helping Cloud Platform teams understand Domo’s value proposition, architecture, and common integration patterns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline;
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or solution architecture with deep exposure to at least one major cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery);
  • Strong understanding of modern analytics architecture patterns, including:
    • Medallion or multi-hop models (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
    • Data transformations with dbt or SQL-based frameworks.
    • Object Storage and Open Table Formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi).
    • Serverless compute and distributed query engines.
  • Strong SQL fluency, with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries across Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks SQL;
  • Experience with data ingestion and transformation pipelines, including batch and streaming ETL/ELT workflows, data pipeline orchestration, and metadata management;
  • Understanding of data governance principles, including data access policies, lineage, and catalog-based metadata management, especially within tools like Snowflake Horizon, Unity Catalog (Databricks), and Google Dataplex / Data Catalog (BigQuery);
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating architectural decisions into business value;
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and strong sense of urgency, self-directed and resourceful;
  • Certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, or similar platforms are a strong plus (e.g., SnowPro Core/Advanced, Databricks Data Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Data Engineer);
  • Hands-on experience integrating business intelligence tools with cloud data warehouses/lakehouses, bonus for prior work with Domo or similar platforms.

Form CC-305
Page 1 of 1
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
