The Role

As the SDR Manager at Donorbox, you will oversee and drive the day-to-day activities of our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). You’ll play a pivotal role in building and optimizing our sales pipeline, ensuring success through detailed planning, consistent execution, and performance measurement. This role encompasses both outbound and inbound responsibilities, including defining ideal leads, crafting compelling messaging, measuring SDR activity metrics, and converting inbound leads into opportunities.

Your ultimate success will be determined by the number of demos booked by the SDR team under your leadership, through outbound efforts. You’ll be managing a current team of four SDRs, with the opportunity to expand the team as we continue to grow.

Please note: This is a remote role but there is a possibility of transitioning to an in-office setting in the future. This position also requires frequent travel for sales-related activities, including attending industry conferences, networking events, and providing in-person training for SDRs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a growing team of SDRs, ensuring their success in achieving individual and team KPIs.
  • Define ideal customer profiles and refine target lead lists for outbound efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective outbound messaging strategies.
  • Monitor SDR activities, including outreach volume, conversion rates, and demo bookings, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Create scalable processes and systems to support SDR growth and efficiency.
  • Report on SDR team performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with broader sales goals.
  • Hiring, onboarding, and training new SDRs as the team expands.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an SDR Manager, with additional 4+ years as an SDR in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in outbound strategy, with a track record of successfully building pipelines and driving results through outbound efforts.
  • Experience leading teams to convert both outbound and inbound leads into sales opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, SmartLeads, Sendspark, Canva).
  • A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline and demo booking goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Details

  • Fully remote based in United States
  • Candidates must be based in ET timezone (or comfortable working standard ET hours)
  • Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 USD + commissions
