Job Summary
The Vice President of Graphic Design is responsible for leading the creative vision and design execution across Donor Vision’s client campaigns. This role oversees the development of compelling visual strategies that support nonprofit fundraising initiatives and donor engagement efforts across multiple marketing channels.
The VP of Graphic Design will lead and mentor the creative design team, ensuring high-quality creative output that aligns with client objectives and agency standards. This individual will collaborate closely with strategy, production, and client services teams to translate campaign goals into impactful visual storytelling that drives results for nonprofit partners.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the agency’s graphic design and creative team.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development for designers and creative staff.
- Establish creative standards, processes, and quality control measures.
- Oversee resource allocation and workload planning for the creative team.
- Participate in hiring and performance management of creative staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction for marketing and fundraising campaigns across print, digital, and integrated channels.
- Ensure all design work aligns with campaign strategy, brand standards, and client goals.
- Collaborate with client services, production, and strategy teams to translate campaign concepts into compelling visual assets.
- Oversee the design and development of creative materials including direct mail, digital advertising, email campaigns, social media graphics, and fundraising collateral.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and brand consistency across all client deliverables.
- Guide the creative team in developing innovative visual concepts that enhance donor engagement and campaign performance.
- Provide strategic input during campaign planning and client presentations.
- Manage timelines and workflows to ensure creative deliverables meet production schedules.
- Stay informed of design trends, marketing innovations, and emerging creative technologies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of professional design experience, including leadership experience managing creative teams.
- Experience working in a marketing agency, fundraising agency, or integrated marketing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading creative development for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience supporting nonprofit organizations or mission-driven campaigns is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- This is primarily a remote position requiring the ability to work from a home office or remote location with reliable internet and phone service.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear communication and active listening.
- Occasional travel for team meetings, client engagements, or company events may be required depending on the role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a digital environment requiring prioritization and time management.
Work Location & Travel
This role is remote-friendly. Candidates located near one of our office hubs may be asked to work on a hybrid schedule. Employees outside of these areas may occasionally travel for team meetings, training sessions, or company events.
