Associate Manager, Partner Marketing

Melbourne, VIC; Sydney, NSW

About the team

The Merchants and Partnerships Marketing team sits within the Integrated Marketing function at DoorDash.

We lead how DoorDash shows up alongside our merchant and consumer partners, ensuring partnership opportunities translate into cohesive, high-impact marketing programs. Across Restaurants, New Verticals, and strategic consumer partnerships, we connect commercial priorities with customer insight to drive measurable growth and meaningful engagement.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office (Melbourne or Sydney) and 2 days working remotely.

About the role

We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Partner Marketing to support and help shape integrated marketing strategy across DoorDash’s core growth areas.

This role sits at the centre of cross-functional collaboration, partnering closely with Strategy & Operations, Sales, Growth, Ads, Brand and Creative teams to turn business priorities into clear, executable marketing plans. You’ll help bring campaigns to life across both scaled programs and individual partner activations, ensuring strong alignment, disciplined execution, and measurable results.

A key part of the role is evaluating inbound opportunities, applying commercial judgement, and focusing resources on the initiatives that will drive the greatest impact. You’ll also contribute to planning across key trading and cultural moments, shaping how partner marketing supports broader brand and growth objectives throughout the year.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with operational rigour, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated by delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Translate business priorities into clear, structured marketing programs that drive measurable impact.
Lead campaign execution from brief through to performance review, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment and delivery.
  • Apply commercial judgement to prioritise the highest-impact opportunities and manage competing demands.
  • Design scalable initiatives that balance partner needs with meaningful customer value.
  • Shape how partner marketing shows up across key trading and cultural moments.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Strategy & Operations, Growth, Ads and Brand to bring integrated programs to life.
  • Use performance insights to refine strategy and continuously raise the bar on execution quality.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, partnerships marketing, category marketing, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • You bring strong commercial acumen and are comfortable evaluating trade-offs, prioritising effectively, and aligning marketing plans to business outcomes.
  • You have hands-on experience delivering multi-channel campaigns and understand how activity connects across the customer journey.
  • You are highly organised and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are customer-obsessed — you champion the customer in decision-making and consistently ask how marketing programs deliver real value to people.
  • You are collaborative, proactive, and comfortable influencing across both internal and external stakeholders.
