Associate Manager, Partnerships Marketing
About the Team
The Integrated & Partnerships Marketing team sits at the intersection of marketing and our merchants and partners across restaurants, new verticals and key commercial partnerships. We create integrated campaigns that bring together brand, category, and partner opportunities to drive measurable growth, deepen consumer engagement, and elevate how DoorDash shows up in culture. Working across the full marketing mix, the team collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office (Melbourne or Sydney) and 2 days working remotely
About the Role
We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Partnerships Marketing to lead strategic and executional marketing efforts across our New Verticals business, including grocery, pharmacy and retail. You’ll own both integrated category campaigns and merchant-specific marketing programs that drive growth, strengthen customer engagement, and elevate the DoorDash experience across these rapidly expanding categories.
This role is both partner-facing and highly cross-functional. You’ll work closely with Sales, Strategy & Operations, Brand, Growth, and Retention teams, as well as directly with key merchant partners, to translate category opportunities and business priorities into compelling marketing activations. You will need to bring a strong commercial lens, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to operate autonomously while delivering high-quality work end-to-end.
This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, is energised by working across multiple categories, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
- Own end-to-end marketing execution for New Verticals campaigns, from integrated category programs to single-merchant activations, driving category growth, customer acquisition, loyalty, and merchant success.
- Build and execute data-driven marketing strategies, using insights, experimentation, and a test-and-learn mindset to optimise performance, messaging, channel mix, and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with merchant partners and Sales to bring compelling co-marketing opportunities to life.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Strategy & Operations, Brand, Growth, Retention, Creative, and Legal to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams with clear communication, seamless coordination, and effective storytelling to articulate impact and champion New Verticals marketing across the business.
We're excited about you because…
- You have 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, partnerships marketing, category marketing, or a related role within a high-growth or cross-functional environment.
- Experience working directly with external partners or clients, confidently managing relationships, expectations, and joint commercial opportunities.
- Hands-on experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of how to connect activity across the full customer journey.
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen, able to evaluate opportunities, understand category dynamics, interpret performance data, and translate insights into impactful marketing actions.
- Highly organised and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while working effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Strategy & Operations, Brand, and Growth.
