Senior Associate, Partnership Marketing

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Partner Marketer to support the day-to-day needs of our merchant co-marketing initiatives. This role is a key member of our Partnership Marketing team and will drive execution excellence across our co-marketing campaigns. The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with the Partner Marketers to build marketing and promotional plans that will achieve our volume, customer acquisition, selection, and brand awareness objectives. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing and will support the team on the planning, execution, measuring and monitoring of partner marketing initiatives related to Restaurants, New Verticals, SMB, and Local merchants. You will collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and partners to build strong relationships and execute plans flawlessly. You will be based out of our Toronto office with regularly scheduled days in office with the rest of the Partnership Marketing and cross-functional teams. 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the team in proactively identifying opportunities to drive key Merchant performance and new customers to DoorDash
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their priorities and bring forward opportunities to showcase priority merchants in broader marketing programs
  • In conjunction with the Partnership Marketing team, meet with select managed merchants alongside the sales teams to represent partner marketing priorities
  • In partnership with colleagues, plan, execute, manage, and monitor Go-to-Market plans that are driven by data-backed insights to meet objectives and goals mutually shared with priority merchants
  • Ensure Partnership Marketing delivers plans that are in-scope, on time and within budget
  • Maintain an extremely high level of responsiveness and communication across all stakeholders and leadership for deliverables within your scope 
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external cross-functional partners to allow for efficient execution in a fast-paced, high intensity environment 
  • Establish effective communication processes and tools with internal stakeholders, creative team and external agencies to ensure smooth delivery and execution of partnership marketing campaigns  
  • Contribute to a positive environment that fosters innovation and growth through creativity, data, and established processes  

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 4+ years of consumer marketing Go-To-Market planning and execution experience, preferably within the retail or food-service industries.
  • You have a clear understanding of the full-funnel marketing mix across a variety of online and offline mediums including media (OOH, paid search/display/social), experiential, in-store, PR etc and how they work together to present a cohesive and integrated campaign in market.
  • You have experience in partner management and an understanding of how to operate with a partner-centric mindset.
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented and know how to seek the answers you need.  
  • You are a strong communicator and are comfortable dealing with various levels of seniority within an organization. 
  • You possess incredible organizational skills and attention to detail because you strive for execution excellence
  • You lead with curiosity and seek out opportunities to do things differently and drive innovation to improve business impact
