Specialist, Ad Ops Audit & Billing

About the Team

Our Ads & Promotions Operations team operates at the intersection of e-commerce, marketing, and advertising. We ensure our promotional and advertising campaigns deliver high-quality experiences for consumers and merchants while driving performance for advertisers. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Accounting teams to audit contracts and campaigns, pull data for billing, and drive process optimizations.

About the Role

As an audit specialist, you will support the integrity and scalability of DoorDash’s advertising programs by auditing campaigns, validating custom contract terms, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely billing.

In this role, you will…

  • Audit advertising campaigns line-by-line to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with custom contract terms
  • Own monthly invoicing workflows by validating campaign performance data against contractual agreements
  • Review custom contracts as they enter the Ad Operations pipeline to confirm feasibility, accuracy, and operational readiness
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert to Sales and Account teams during campaign scoping
  • Support Accounting by investigating and resolving historical invoice inquiries
  • Audit promotional and banner campaigns prior to launch
  • Maintain documentation including audit logs, trackers, and playbooks
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 1+ years of experience in ad operations, digital advertising, audit, or contract compliance; high growth startup experience preferred.
  • You’re comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, and data tools to find data during investigations.
  • You are extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a strong ability to work autonomously to troubleshoot issues, communicate to cross-functional stakeholders, escalate as needed, and drive campaign issues to full resolution.
  • You’re a self-starter who thrives in changing environments and is eager to expand your skill set.

Nice to haves

  • You have direct experience working with Ads IOs
  • You’ve worked with CPC, CPA, CPM, and flat-rate billing models
  • You have experience in B2B invoicing
