Senior Associate, Creative Strategy - Dasher

Mexico City, Mexico

About the Team

The Dasher Growth Marketing team is focused on building and nurturing our Dasher base by building a relationship with our couriers and providing them with an engaging and relevant cross-channel experience. The Dasher Growth Marketing team at DoorDash is growing rapidly and it is expected this person will be a leader on the team, help develop our marketing approach, and grow their career as the team expands.

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and driven Senior Associate, Dasher Performance Marketing with strong experience in creative optimization for paid channels to support and scale a world-class Dasher acquisition program. This is a hands-on, Media Ops–grounded role focused on execution, creative performance analysis, and operational excellence.

You’ll have an immediate impact by owning creative performance analysis, reporting, and trafficking across our main paid media channels throughout  the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. You’ll manage a high-performing creative acquisition program with support from our U.S.-based team, solving complex problems and making strategic recommendations that directly drive Dasher growth.

Based in Mexico City (CDMX), you’ll be among the first marketing hires in our local office. You’ll also partner closely with platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google, and Snapchat to test new products, implement new creative strategies and unlock scalable growth opportunities.

You will report directly to our Manager, Dasher Performance Marketing (CDMX).

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Be part of the founding DoorDash team in our Mexico City office, helping shape how Media Ops and performance marketing operate locally.
  • Own creative performance across paid channels (especially Paid Social) for Dasher acquisition, ensuring we hit performance targets while continuously improving creative effectiveness.
  • Serve as the single-threaded owner of creative performance insights, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for both media and creative teams.
  • Measure a structured, hypothesis-driven creative experimentation roadmap—including:
    • A/B and multivariate creative tests (concepts, hooks, formats, messaging, and CTAs)
    • Creative-driven optimization and algorithm tests in partnership with media channel owners
  • Translate creative performance data into production guidance by identifying winning patterns in messaging, visuals, angles, and formats, and turning those learnings into clear feedback for designers, agencies, and traffickers.
  • Work day-to-day with media teams, creative agencies, platform partners, and traffickers to:
    • Build and refine creative briefs grounded in performance insights
    • Own creative trafficking, QA, naming conventions, and flighting for both always-on refreshes and specialized campaigns
    • Quickly launch, iterate, and scale winning assets while maintaining clean test hygiene
  • Build and maintain performance reporting and monitor key metrics such as CPA, CPC, CVR, CTR, flagging risks and opportunities early.
  • Partner cross-functionally with creative, growth, analytics, and local teams to align on goals, share learnings, and feed creative insights back into broader strategy.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You are proficient in English (written and spoken) and comfortable presenting performance results and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
  • You have 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, or creative optimization roles, ideally focused on acquisition.
  • You have direct, hands-on experience with:
    • Paid Social media buying and optimization (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
    • Creative testing and experimentation, either in-house or at an agency
  • You are highly analytical about creative and comfortable working deeply in data:
    • Very strong in Excel / Google Sheets
    • Deep familiarity with performance metrics such as CPA, CPC, CVR, CTR
    • Able to build structured analyses that explain why creative worked and what should happen next
  • You are operationally strong and comfortable following and helping manage cross-functional workflows within a Media Ops environment.
  • You have creative fluency—you can evaluate ad concepts, messaging, hooks, and formats and provide clear, actionable feedback, even if you’re not producing creative yourself.
  • You enjoy collaborating with creative teams and agencies – you can speak both “data” and “creative,” and you’re skilled at turning numbers into simple, inspiring direction.
  • Preferred: Experience with web & app tracking / attribution (e.g., MMPs, pixels, server-side tracking).
  • Preferred: SQL knowledge (or a strong desire to learn) to dig into cohort, funnel, and LTV analyses.
  • Preferred: Experience working on multi-sided marketplace businesses, understanding supply/demand dynamics and quality of acquired users/partners.
