As one of DoorDash’s core operations teams, Partner Strategy & Operations is tasked with ensuring that when there are bumps in the last mile there’s always someone there to help make things right. Our team manages DoorDash’s massive and growing global network of support centers, with the ultimate goal of delivering a world-class customer experience every time, on budget.

About the Role

DoorDash is looking for an Associate manager, Partner Strategy and Operations to help our support team manage the cost of our global Partner support network. You will have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact by, but not limited to: 

  • Ensuring actual support Partner costs are accurate, benefiting the bottom line
  • Manage Support Average Handle Time (AHT), chat concurrency, other efficiency bets while always solving for customer experience quality enhancements. 
  • Identify new opportunities and drive end-to-end pilots to scale them. 

You will report to DoorDash's Senior Manager, Global Support & Integrity Operations Cost and will be remote with the option to work from DoorDash's office.

  • Collaborate with teams across Support, Consumer & Dasher S&O, Workforce, and Finance and help drive the team towards achieving or exceeding our north star cost metrics 
  • Manage, track, and identify opportunities to improve key metrics, such as AHT, Support Unit Economics, and Cost
  • You are able to move between the 10,000 foot level and the 100 foot level of data
  • Resolve vendor and partner billing and reimbursement challenges by communicating directly with vendors and our cross-functional partners
  • Build and implement scalable processes and tools to drive efficiencies for the organization and the company overall
  • Establish rapport among cross-functional partners
  • Execute on the organization’s monthly, quarterly, and annual plan 

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Corporate Strategy or other relevant fields
  • You have 4+ years of relevant industry experience
  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • You are interested in learning SQL
  • You have experience conducting detailed analyses or financial modeling

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
