Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics - DashPass

DashPass is Doordash’s subscription program and one of the company’s central initiatives, responsible for a large portion of the revenue. Analytics is a key player on the DashPass team, whose aim is to increase the value of the program and the size of the membership.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Science Team Lead / Sr Manager (exact title TBD) to support the DashPass Growth and Partnerships pods. Those two pods are responsible for some of the key strategic initiatives in support of the growth of DashPass overall membership, with frequent exposure to DoorDash C-suite. The role will interface with senior leaders on the Product and Strategy teams, and actively participate in shaping the roadmap. It is a management position, but still largely hands-on. 

We are looking for someone with exceptional product and business intuition, superior analytical skills, great collaboration aptitudes, strong technical abilities, and an insatiable curiosity; someone who is excited to dive into the data, extract insights, and use those to form a perspective on the product and influence the roadmap.

  • Lead a team of Data Scientists in investigating complex issues and uncovering key drivers of our business
  • Create compelling narratives about our customers, with actionable recommendations
  • Influence the Product roadmap with insights gleaned from the data
  • Operate both at the lowest level of detail and at the strategic level - frequently interacting with senior leadership
  • Develop data-driven frameworks to facilitate prioritization of high-impact product and operational initiatives
  • Drive measurement strategy for the area under scope, defining success metrics and implementing best practices around experiment design and statistical analysis

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
