About the Role

As a member of the Social Team, you will have the opportunity to provide uniquely tailored support to our Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants that reach out to DoorDash across multiple social media platforms. Teammates own the support experience end to end, leveraging the appropriate tools, escalation channels, and workflows to provide highly individualized solutions.

Teammates are responsible for responding to customer outreach both publicly and via direct messages, providing exceptional support to all consumers including VIP, Verified, and celebrity/public figures. Strong communication and attention to detail is a must as we navigate highly sensitive issues in the public eye. We operate with an “and, not either/or” mentality, escalating feedback and solutions to cross-functional partners to find solutions for some of our most complicated DoorDash issues.

About the Team

DoorDash’s Social Care team is a fastpasted organization that’s growing quickly. As a teammate you will have the opportunity to represent DoorDash’s voice and craft our public image across our social media platforms.

  • Operate with a high level of independence and are able to tailor unique and creative public responses to each customer, reflecting the DoorDash brand
  • Work with some of DoorDash’s most prominent VIP customers, verified Twitter users, and public figures, providing excellent customer service every time
  • Operate as the voice of the consumer, escalating product and process issues to the appropriate teams for resolution
  • Collaborate cross functionally to resolve high profile customer issue and to escalate health, safety, legal concerns quickly and efficiently
  • Use a variety of resources to work effectively and solve problems independently

We’re excited about you because…

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience at DoorDash is preferred and at least 3 months experience as a DoorDash employee is required
  • You must be meeting your current team metrics for Utilization, CSAT, and QA
  • Have a strong understanding of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) 
  • You operate with empathy and a willingness to go above and beyond for customers
  • You’re a great communicator with a strong attention to detail
  • You’re self-motivated and have a bias towards action. You’re able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment 
  • Your customers love you and always have great things to say about you
