Senior Manager, People Product
About the Team
The People Technology Product team builds the internal tools and frameworks that power every employee’s journey at DoorDash. We combine a hybrid “build + buy” approach to deliver intelligent, scalable, and people-centric experiences across hiring, onboarding, learning, performance, compensation, and more. Our team partners closely with Engineering, Analytics, People/HR, and IT to design and develop products that connect and elevate the entire People Tech stack. We’re redefining how great employee experiences are built from the inside out.
About the Role
DoorDash is on a mission to reimagine how employees work — and we’re hiring a Senior Manager, People Product to help lead the charge. This is a foundational Individual Contributor role on our People Technology Product team, reporting directly to the Director of People Product. You’ll be responsible for leading the development of core platform capabilities — including AI-powered automation and our unified product experience.
You’ll work at the heart of our hybrid custom and SaaS product ecosystem, connecting over 40 products and services into a streamlined employee experience. This role is perfect for a product leader who thrives in ambiguous 0 to 1 spaces, embodies systems thinking, and wants to leave their fingerprint on how DoorDash’s global workforce operates.
What You’ll Own
- Architect the Core: Lead the product strategy and delivery of the People Product framework that connects our custom and SaaS products.
- Drive AI Automation: Spearhead the product vision and roadmap for our AI-powered assistant, designing automation experiences for employees, managers, and People teams.
- Shape Cross-Functional Impact: Partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Analytics, People, and IT to deliver cohesive, outcome-driven solutions that simplify the employee experience.
- Deliver at Scale: Build scalable, reusable capabilities (like experimentation, product analytics, and user design frameworks) that accelerate development across the entire People Tech ecosystem.
- Scale Product Craft: Play a vital role in defining how we develop products across People Tech, empowering the Product, Engineering, and People teams to build faster and smarter.
You’re excited about this role because you will…
- Design the future of how DoorDash employees work — leveraging internal platforms and LLMs to create frictionless employee experiences.
- Operate at the intersection of product, data, systems, and user empathy, driving real impact for recruiters, employees, managers, and People teams.
- Own end-to-end product strategy for some of the most critical “glue” systems that hold our tech stack together.
- Help shape the culture of product in a fast-moving, high-impact space that touches every part of the employee lifecycle.
We’re excited about you because you…
- Have 8+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of building platform tools, internal products, or cross-cutting frameworks at scale. (People/HR tech experience is a plus but not required)
- Have experience launching AI/automation-enabled experiences.
- Thrive in ambiguous spaces where you’re both setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver.
- Are an exceptional communicator, deeply empathetic toward users, and fluent in working with engineering, design, data, and business partners.
We expect this position to be filled by 10/11/2025.
