About the Role
You will play a key role in maintenance planning and supply chain at DoorDash Labs. This will include creating maintenance programs, planning and compliance to PM schedules, planning hardware and firmware upgrades, asset relocations, logistics, and parts inventory & demand planning. You will ensure all of this is tracked in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will work cross-functionally with both the operations and engineering teams to achieve your objectives. You will report to the Manager of Supply Chain and Maintenance Planning in our DoorDash Labs organization.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Drive execution and reporting of retrofit plans in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement
- Optimize a maintenance program in collaboration with the engineering reliability team to optimize asset availability
- Coordinate asset relocations for new product introduction, servicing, and market entry/growth
- Work closely with procurement and logistics to ensure optimal spare parts inventory levels
- Support engineering in root cause analysis (RCA) of asset failures and implement corrective actions
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, tools, and techniques
- Continue to build and maintain all of the enterprise asset management system data
We’re excited about you because you have…
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain related field
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability engineering in a manufacturing, automation, or robotics environment.
- Proven experience quickly learning and working with CMMS and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of various maintenance strategies (e.g., preventive, predictive, RCM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite, specifically Sheets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Believe in 1% improvement every day
