Senior Associate, GSIO
About the Team
As one of DoorDash’s core operations teams, Customer Experience & Integrity (CXI) ensures that when there are bumps in the last mile, there’s always someone there to help make things right. We design, manage, and operate one of DoorDash’s largest teams, aiming to drive value, fuel growth, and deliver exceptional service through empowered teams.
The Senior Associate role is dedicated to supporting the Global Support and Integrity Operations (GSIO) leadership team by anticipating conflicts, coordinating key projects, ensuring strategic use of time, driving alignment, and creating consistency across key workstreams. This role will be instrumental in enabling leaders to maximize their impact while ensuring that the rhythm of business is executed seamlessly.
About the Role
The Senior Associate will be a trusted partner to the GSIO Senior Director and Directors, ensuring their calendars, partner site visits, and rhythm of business cadences are managed with precision and foresight. You’ll play a central role in orchestrating logistics for critical activities such as offshore vendor site visits, partner events, and proactively managing leadership schedules and actions to ensure time is spent on the highest-impact priorities and that decisions are cascaded and followed through on.
This role will partner closely with the GSIO Senior Director and Directors, balancing independent ownership with collaboration across multiple stakeholders and teams. This role requires a strong balance of detail orientation, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease. Given the high level of visibility into sensitive situations, leaders' activities, deliverables and priorities, this role also demands the utmost discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Global Partner & Vendor Site Visit Coordination: Plan and execute logistics for senior leader in person and virtual visits to offshore vendor sites, including travel arrangements, agendas, meeting preparation, and on-site coordination as needed.
- Kanban & Workflow Management: Create and own the GSIO Kanban board to keep work visible and organized. Partner with project leads to ensure updates are current, blockers are flagged early, and priorities are aligned across teams.
- Headcount & Resource Tracking: Assist with headcount planning and reporting in partnership with HRBP, Talent Acquisition and Finance. Keep updated records of open roles, hiring status, and team capacity to help leadership make informed staffing and planning decisions.
- Event Planning & Execution: Support the planning and coordination of partner events, ensuring seamless logistics, clear communication, and alignment with business goals.
- Rhythm of Business: Own and maintain the GSIO Rhythm of Business calendar, ensuring all recurring meetings and key deliverables are organized and executed on time.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather updates, align on action items and deliverables, and prepare pre-reads for key meetings.
- Follow-Through: Track action items and next steps across projects, ensuring owners follow through and progress is visible to leadership.
- Calendar Management & Meeting Support: Provide both traditional and proactive calendar management for the Sr. Director and Directors, anticipating conflicts, prioritizing strategic engagements, and aligning with the Rhythm of Business.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Navian to enable efficient scheduling, communications, and logistics support.
We’re excited about you because…
- You bring 3–5+ years of experience in operations coordination, executive support, project management, or event planning.
- You are a master organizer, able to juggle multiple complex calendars, events, and stakeholders with precision and discretion, while maintaining strict confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- You have a process mindset — you enjoy finding ways to make work more structured and efficient.
- You balance executional excellence with ownership — managing details while also anticipating needs, identifying efficiencies, and advising leaders on priorities.
- You have exceptional communication skills, able to interact with senior leaders and external vendors with professionalism and confidence.
- You are skilled in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and travel coordination systems such as Navan.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, pivoting seamlessly between tasks and solving problems proactively.
- You are resourceful, proactive, and take initiative to ensure leaders are always prepared and supported.
