About the Role
Do you love turning ideas into scroll-stopping content? SevenRooms by DoorDash is looking for a creative Senior Associate of Social & Video Content to grow our social presence, bring our brand to life through video, and tell compelling stories from inside the hospitality industry.
In this role, you’ll create content that educates, inspires, and entertains restaurant owners and hospitality leaders — building an engaged audience and making SevenRooms a must-follow brand. This isn’t just a desk job, you’ll get the chance to be out in the field visiting restaurants, interviewing operators, attending events, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, and turning real insights into standout content.
You’ll experiment across formats, from short-form video to thought leadership and customer features, constantly testing and refining what resonates. Reporting to the Content Manager, you’ll help shape and scale our social and video strategy while partnering cross-functionally across marketing, product marketing, events, creative and customer success. We are seeking a creative Sr Associate, Social Content & Video to grow our social media channels, bring our brand to life through video, and tell compelling customer stories. In this role, you’ll create content that both educates, inspires, and entertains restaurant owners and hospitality leaders, building an engaged community and making SevenRooms a go-to source to follow in the hospitality space.
You’ll report to the Content Manager, working closely together to shape and scale SevenRooms’ social and video strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and grow SevenRooms’ social media presence across social channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and TikTok.
- Help develop and execute a social and video content strategy focused on engaging restaurant owners, operators, and hospitality leaders.
- Create and produce short- and long-form video content, including social-first videos, customer interviews, behind-the-scenes content, “edutainment”, event coverage, and campaign assets—and confidently appear on camera when needed.
- Stay on top of trends in social media, video formats, and the hospitality space, pitching creative ideas that feel timely, relevant, and on-brand.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify strong customer stories and turn them into written and video case studies, testimonials, and social content.
- Manage social content planning, scheduling, publishing, and performance tracking, using insights to optimize content and drive engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative teams, Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and CS to align content with broader campaigns and launches.
Who You Are:
- 3–4 years of experience growing social media channels and building engaged audiences, ideally for a B2B or tech company.
- Hands-on experience creating and leveraging video in social campaigns, from idea to execution.
- Comfortable on camera, with strong storytelling and interview skills.
- Creative, curious, and plugged into social, video, and digital culture.
- A strong collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments.
- Organized, proactive, and excited to test, learn, and iterate.
- A natural go-getter with ideas—and the drive to execute them.
Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

See below for paid time off details:
- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$83,000 - $122,000 USD
