About the Role
The Manager of Field Strategy will serve as the operational backbone for DashMart's site network, owning the creation and maintenance of standardized processes, performance systems, and operational cadences that drive consistent execution across all locations. This role will focus on translating business strategy into actionable site-level standards, developing comprehensive playbooks and SOPs, and building performance management systems that reduce variability and improve outcomes network-wide.
Success will be measured by the reduction in site-to-site performance variability and the percentage of sites meeting established operational standards. You will establish a foundation of standardized processes that enable predictable execution. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the operational DNA of a rapidly scaling retail network, working directly with site leadership to transform how locations execute daily operations. You'll be joining at a pivotal moment as DashMart expands partnerships with major grocery retailers and requires enterprise-grade operational consistency to support this growth.
You will report to Sr. Manager, Enablement on our Site Operations team in our DashMart organization.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Build. You will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and ground-level execution, converting complex initiatives into actionable site standards that teams can consistently deliver. You will construct performance management systems, create standardized processes, accountability frameworks, and coaching systems that transform site variability into predictable business outcomes at scale.
- Operate. Success comes from understanding our business inside & out. You will learn the fulfillment operations, identify areas for improvement, learn from the experts and experiment before scaling.
- Collaborate. You will collaborate across product, supply chain, real estate, and technology teams to ensure operational requirements are embedded in upstream decisions, while working directly with site leadership to drive adoption and results.
- Scale. You will join during a pivotal growth phase as DashMart expands partnerships with major grocery retailers, giving you the opportunity to build systems that will support hundreds of additional sites and thousands of new team members.
- Learn. You will gain deep expertise in retail fulfillment operations, warehouse management, and performance optimization while working alongside industry experts in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
We’re excited about you because…
- 5+ years of experience in operations strategy, process standardization, performance management, or field operations, including experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Experience developing and implementing standardized processes, SOPs, or operational frameworks across multi-site, distributed, or field-based organizations and/or demonstrated experience building performance management systems, including establishing metrics, accountability frameworks, and operational cadences
- Strong analytical capability, including experience using operational data to identify improvement opportunities, measure performance, and drive decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience influencing site leadership and frontline management teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support site visits, process implementation, and team collaboration
