Motion Designer
About the Team
Superette is DoorDash’s award-winning in-house creative studio—a multi-disciplinary collective built to inspire, lead, and deliver culture-shaping work across every channel and touchpoint. Made up of creative directors, art directors, copywriters, editorial writers, growth creatives and designers, we exist to infuse creativity into every corner of the business and elevate it as a true driver of growth. Our mission is to build a brand people actually care about—one that shows up meaningfully, solves problems, earns its place in culture, and creates work that hits hard and sticks. Our studio is stacked with some of the best talent in the game, and our ambition is simple: raise the bar with every brief. In 2024, we were named the #2 in-house studio by The One Show and The Drum, and celebrated by Cannes Lions, Fast Company, and more.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Motion Designer to join Superette and lead motion across high-impact growth surfaces, from paid media and social to lifecycle and campaign storytelling. This role sits at the intersection of performance and brand, responsible for turning static ideas into motion that drives action, scales efficiently, and elevates DoorDash’s creative output.
You’ll work closely with Creative and Marketing partners to concept, design, and produce motion that performs in fast-paced environments. You’ll build repeatable systems, not just one-off assets. You will be developing templates, frameworks, and motion languages that scale across channels while maintaining craft.
You’re fluent in the realities of performance marketing: tight timelines, high volume, constant iteration, but bring a strong point of view on pacing, storytelling, and visual polish.
You’ll report to a Sr. Designer within Marketing, helping define how motion shows up across DoorDash’s ecosystem.
You're excited about this opportunity because...
- Lead motion design across paid media, lifecycle, social, and campaign work
- Translate static creative into high-performing motion assets optimized for conversion and engagement
- Build scalable motion systems, templates, and toolkits to enable rapid iteration and production
- Partner with designers, copywriters, and marketers to develop concepts from idea through execution
- Apply performance insights and testing learnings to continuously refine motion output
- Create sizzle reels, campaign edits, and brand-forward motion moments when needed
- Contribute to evolving DoorDash’s motion language and creative systems across touchpoints
- Experiment with new formats, platforms, and AI-powered workflows to increase speed and scale
- Balance speed and craft—delivering high-quality work under tight timelines
We're excited about you because...
- 4+ years of experience in motion design, with a strong focus on digital, social, and performance marketing
- Portfolio demonstrating both high-volume motion work (ads, social, lifecycle) and brand/campaign storytelling
- Expertise in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma workflows
- Strong understanding of pacing, hierarchy, typography, and storytelling in motion
- Experience building templates, systems, or modular approaches to creative production
- Ability to work quickly and iteratively without sacrificing quality
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with evolving priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate creative decisions
- Experience with AI tools (Runway, Sora, etc.) and motion automation workflows is a plus
- Graphic design skills a plus
- Background in tech, media, or performance marketing environments preferred
We expect this position to be filled by 6/5/2026.
