Senior Associate, Physical Security Initiatives

United States - Remote

About the Team

The Global Safety and Security team advances DoorDash through the protection of people, property, operations, brand, and reputation. We deliver value through agility, technology, and a people-first mindset—creating environments where employees and guests feel safe, welcome, and confident.

As DoorDash continues to evolve its workplace experience globally, our Corporate Safety and Security team is reimagining how physical security integrates seamlessly into every employee and guest interaction. The Senior Associate, Physical Security Initiatives will play a key role in the hands-on delivery and optimization of this next-generation security experience.

About the Role

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Senior Associate, Physical Security Initiatives to help revolutionize how DoorDash experiences physical security across its global offices. You will work at the intersection of security operations and technology, serving as a primary contributor to the rollout of automated, data-driven, and integrated physical security experiences.

This role is for a high-impact "doer" who can bridge the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. You will partner closely with our Security Enablement Engineering team and Workplace partners to turn vision into reality, ensuring our scalable systems enhance trust and efficiency across our corporate environments.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Execute Strategic Projects: Drive the end-to-end delivery of initiatives that transform how physical security solutions are provided to employees and guests globally.
  • Implement Integrated Systems: Support the Security Enablement Engineering team in the deployment and configuration of automated systems (e.g., access control, visitor management, and emergency response tech).
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work daily with Workplace, IT, Legal, and HR to ensure security workflows align with company-wide priorities and user experience goals.
  • Evaluate & Test Technology: Conduct research and help build business cases for new security vendors, tools, and operational efficiencies.
  • Scale Global Standards: Maintain and update global standards for physical security systems, ensuring consistency in user experience across all office locations.
  • Analyze Program Impact: Collect and analyze data from security systems and employee feedback to report on program effectiveness and KPIs.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Assist in running pilot programs and design sprints, incorporating stakeholder feedback to iterate on security processes.
  • Coordinate Operations: Act as the central point of contact for project-specific coordination between operations, engineering, and site-level teams.

We’re excited about you because:

  • Experience: You have 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, physical security operations, or technology-focused project management.
  • Project Mindset: You have a proven track record of supporting or leading complex initiatives involving technology implementation and stakeholder coordination.
  • Systematic Thinker: You can take a complex process and break it down into clear, actionable workflows and documentation.
  • Communicator: You possess strong communication skills and can translate technical security requirements for non-technical partners.
  • Technical Familiarity: You have hands-on experience with (or a strong desire to master) physical security tech like access control, visitor management, or identity systems.
  • Agile & Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable "building the plane while flying it."
  • User-Centric: You believe that security should be a seamless, inclusive part of the employee experience, not a barrier to it.

We expect this position to be filled by 7/3/2026.
