About the Role

Dorsia is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to build and own a complete end-to-end agentic financial infrastructure that will take the company from Series A to Series B (and beyond). This role sits at the intersection of financial strategy, operational rigor, and organizational leadership, with direct ownership across Finance, Compliance, Business Intelligence, and Human Capital.

The CFO will architect and deploy agentic AI systems across every function they own, from autonomous reporting and forecasting to compliance monitoring and BI.The financial fundamentals matter deeply, as does the way Dorsia builds its financial infrastructure with an AI-first mindset. This role owns the full accounting and FP&A function, leads Series B preparation, and serves as the primary financial partner to the CEO on capital allocation and corporate development decisions.

Beyond finance, the CFO will oversee legal and compliance across Dorsia’s international markets, manage IT and facilities infrastructure, ensure the business runs on reliable, AI-powered data infrastructure, and own compensation, benefits, and payroll. This is a broad mandate and intentionally so. Dorsia needs a finance leader who is excited to build the infrastructure of a category-defining company from scratch. The foundation you lay here will directly shape how far and how fast Dorsia grows, and the results will be measurable.

What You’ll Do

Finance

  • Own all accounting and FP&A functions, including month-end close, audit readiness, tax strategy, budgeting, forecasting, banking relationships, and financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain financial models that capture the full complexity of Dorsia’s membership, venue, and transactional revenue streams.
  • Drive Series B preparation and all future fundraising, including board reporting, investor relations, and corporate development.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on capital allocation, pricing, unit economics, and strategic planning.
  • Architect a finance function built for leverage, deploying AI and automation across reporting, forecasting, and compliance workflows.

Compliance

  • Oversee legal and compliance functions across all jurisdictions in which Dorsia operates, ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements as it scales globally.
  • Manage IT and facilities, ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with a fast-growing, globally distributed team.
  • Build AI governance and compliance frameworks capable of supporting a Series B process and the operational demands that follow.
  • Implement the insurance coverage and fraud controls critical to operating a payment processor at scale.

Business Intelligence

  • Build an agentic BI function that moves Dorsia from static reporting to real-time intelligence across the organization.
  • Champion the adoption of agentic AI workflows across finance and operations, identifying where autonomous systems can replace manual processes.

Human Capital

  • Own payroll, compensation, and benefits, ensuring Dorsia’s total rewards structure is competitive, compliant, and scalable.
  • Partner with People Operations to build out the finance function, defining team structure and supporting key hires as Dorsia scales.

The Winning Recipe

  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role at a high-growth start-up or scaling technology company.
  • Direct experience leading a company through a fundraising process, ideally Series B or beyond, including board materials and investor relations.
  • Deep technical expertise across accounting, FP&A, and financial modeling.
  • Proven experience deploying AI and agentic workflows across finance functions.
  • Strong command of compliance and legal oversight across multiple jurisdictions, with familiarity in international regulatory environments.
  • Direct experience owning payroll, compensation, and benefits within a high-growth environment.
  • Fluency in the economics of marketplace, membership, or transactional business models; luxury or hospitality industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to function as both a strategic partner and hands-on operator who can build processes and infrastructure from scratch.
  • Clear, precise communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information for board members, investors, and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with fintech, payments infrastructure, or crypto financial products is a plus.
  • High integrity, low ego, and the judgment to lead critical decision-making in a high-stakes environment.

Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia

At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization.

In-Person Matters

We’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn’t happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That’s why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia.

Who We Hire

We don’t subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn’t demographics, it’s a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard.

Lifestyle Hours

We’re not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party.

High Performance Culture

Working at Dorsia isn’t for everyone—and that’s the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember.

A Final Word

We’re building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It’s not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you’ll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that’s the kind of work worth your life’s energy.
