About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager, Classification & Labeling, to join our growing team in Costa Rica. This role is crucial for optimizing the operational flow of our labeling and quality assurance (QA) projects. The Project Manager will be the primary point of coordination between local and international offices for project-related activities, ensuring seamless execution, clear communication, and ideal resource alignment. This position is designed to enhance overall project delivery and directly support our Team Leads by managing project-level logistics, allowing them to focus on vital team development and performance coaching, including associate assignment, mitigating technical constraints, and proactively monitoring progress. This is a Remote working position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Prioritization & Planning:
- Work closely with management and HQ to communicate, deliver, and close the loop on both time-sensitive and ongoing initiatives dependent on labeling and QA workstreams.
- Develop and maintain adherence to project schedules to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and deadlines.
- Cross-Location Coordination:
- Act as the central liaison between local and international teams for all project-related inquiries, updates, and requirements.
- Facilitate efficient information exchange regarding new tasks, updated guidelines, and emerging project needs.
- Jira Ticket Management:
- Oversee the lifecycle of Jira tickets, ensuring accurate status updates, timely progression, and proper documentation.
- Proactively identify and escalate any potential blockers or delays in ticket resolution.
- Workforce Management (WFM) Coordination:
- Collaborate with WFM and Team Leads to align task assignments and resource deployment with project priorities, ensuring the right resources are on the right tasks at the right time.
- Monitor queue health from a project perspective, flagging any capacity or demand mismatches.
- Quality Assurance (QA) & Data Reporting Oversight:
- Ensure the smooth coordination of QA work, from initial task assignment through feedback loops and final data reporting.
- Work to maintain consistency in reporting metrics and ensure data accurately reflects project progress and quality.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline project workflows and communication channels between teams and locations.
- Contribute to the development of project best practices and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a project coordination or project management role, preferably within an operations, data labeling, or quality assurance environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across different locations.
- Proficiency in project management tools, particularly Jira, and strong familiarity with Slack for internal communication.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset.
- Fluency in English required (both written and spoken).
Bonus Qualifications:
- PMP or Lean 6 Sigma Certification.
- Prior experience working with Trust and Safety, Data annotation, and/or ML/AI Training data production businesses.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between USD $1600 - $1750 per month. This role will also be eligible for an annual pro-rata bonus paid in December
