What you’ll do
We are seeking a strategic, detail oriented Global Payroll Lead who will coordinate all efforts pertaining to the payroll processing, analyzing, reporting, and day to day items for the countries this role is responsible for. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, problem solver, who also has exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, as they will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and Legal.
Key responsibilities:
- Global Payroll Operations: Coordinate and process US and Global Payroll’s, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Time Management: Supervise and mentor the payroll team, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.
- Payroll Transformation: Assist with initiatives to identify and implement payroll vendors and systems, consolidate operations, and enhance automation.
- Stabilize Workday Payroll: Ensure seamless payroll integration in Workday, partnering with Tech & Ops to troubleshoot and resolve system issues and ensure accurate data flow.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Accounting, Equity Admin, and HR teams to ensure payroll is processed in compliance with each jurisdiction’s legal requirements and procedures.
- Internal Controls: Maintain internal controls, while ensuring compliance with global, federal, state, and local regulations for taxes, social contributions, benefits, and deductions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement to streamline payroll performance.
- Vendor Management: Manage third-party ticketing systems and enhancements, making sure payroll is running as efficiently as possible.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide metrics and reports to track performance, identify issues, and enhance payroll operations.
Who you are
- Experience: 8+ years of processing US and experience with International Payroll for a Corporate Company
- Technical Skills: Proficient in payroll software, including Workday, OSV, and Papaya Global. Workday experience is required, and Workday Payroll Pro Certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with global stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Accounting, and other teams to ensure seamless payroll processes and drive business goals.
- Global Payroll Transactions: Experience managing payroll for global mobile employees across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $110,000 to $130,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
