What you’ll do
DoubleVerify seeks a talented, resourceful and well-connected Regional Senior Client Partner to sit in our London office, to help expand our business.
Responsibilities
- Manages a portfolio of existing clients and identifies and leads opportunities for account expansion
- Upselling new products, expanding into new markets and retaining clients year on year
- Owns a mix of clients across scale, size and revenue opportunity and prioritises account support and leadership by commercial opportunity
- Conduct deep analysis on your portfolio of strategic accounts to truly understand our client’s business objectives, their industry and how DV tools are best positioned to help drive business outcomes
- Speak to DV services and tools without relying on scripted PPT presentations
- Successfully handles objections from clients and brings in additional support where required
- Supports Account Management / GCAP / Implementation by being a key client communication / escalation point both across local + regional activations
- Gathers feedback from the market / competition and asks deeper questions to understand specific solutions and limitations
- Ability to position DV as a strategic partner to solve complex business problems
- Identify priority solutions for a client and communicate the long-term value of DV’s offerings bespoke to the client’s business needs
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of DV’s technical capabilities and how they can be applied within new structures
- Effectively communicates how our various solutions complement each other and knows when to bring in stakeholders from other solutions into pitch conversations.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of DV’s commercial offerings and can create structured deals from complex situations
- Creates original product value propositions and partners with the Marketing / Insights team to inform content development / positioning
- Applies knowledge and experience to successfully manage client / stakeholder workflows, processes and needs
- Continuously focuses on account stakeholder mapping and their roles & responsibilities to ensure all teams are communicating effectively and with the relevant client leads
- Creates new revenue streams by thinking creatively about our business and finding ways to build out large strategic partnerships that activate across several brands, teams and geos while building a consistent EMEA-wide strategy for the account
- Collaborates with local teams (including CPs, AM Leads), global teams (GCAPs, GADs, GAPs) and Product / Marketing / Insights teams in a cross-functional way to ensure seamless client delivery and support across all markets
- Builds internal relationships with Legal, Contracting and Finance teams to solve complex contracting setups to ensure DV is set up to drive maximum revenue from client structure. Identifies and engages key decision makers in client / procurement partners
- Serves as primary point of contact for senior stakeholders within brand client but also agency relationships at both executive and operational level where required
- Engages and builds champion stakeholders at clients’ locally, regionally and where required globally to get their buy-in for new product activations, tests, regional frameworks and best practices
- Manages rapidly moving processes and procedures to effectively accomplish role
- Effectively and successfully handles complex contract / price negotiations and navigates procurement / finance processes on behalf of client and DV
- Ensures any new product tests are set up with a clear defined framework and measure of success depending on local / regional client KPIs
Requirements
- Deep understanding of ad tech / martech / media industry
- Self-starter attitude - ability to formulate a client strategic account plan, managing internal and external stakeholders, defining growth strategy
- Experience working within tight timelines and high-pressure deals with large revenue potential
- Experience navigating ambiguity and the know how to apply experience and judgment to effectively move projects and deals forward as the owner with little help from regional leadership
- Has managed long-term sales cycles from start to finish
- Able to navigate high-complexity deals and legal projects across multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) as well as geographic regions with multi-market clients
- Looked at as a thought leader - someone who has a valuable opinion and input and is often consulted
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
