DoubleVerify is seeking an experienced and motivated Sr Activation Manager, Social to join our growing Activation team in North America. In this role, you will play a critical role in scaling our Activation function, designed to unlock significant partner growth by accelerating adoption across our Social measurement, targeting and performance solutions. This person will work with some of the biggest and most sophisticated advertisers in the industry, guiding them in effectively using DV’s technology and demonstrating DV’s considerable value to their investment strategies. This role is particularly suited for someone with direct experience in social paid investment, who understands the nuances of social platforms running campaigns in the respective platforms.
The Activation function sits at the intersection of sales and account management, ensuring a smooth transition for partners from initial contact to successful campaign execution. By focusing on empowering partners to achieve their goals, such as improved campaign performance and generating operational efficiencies, this function directly drives increased Social adoption and unlocks new revenue streams.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Sales to add tactical and strategic guidance in client discovery meetings, crafting solutions to address campaign optimization, automation, and performance challenges.
- Act as a technical resource in the pitch process, proactively identifying roadblocks and ensuring smooth Proof-of-Concept (POC) execution.
- Spearhead internal & external enablement processes to foster best practices through education & implementation
- Ensure successful partner onboarding, briefing Account Managers and assisting with initial Social integration.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, analyze campaign performance data, and collaborate on strategic reporting and data visualization.
- Develop a deep understanding of the full DV product suite.
- Apply your social expertise to guide clients through unique safety and platform considerations that impact social media buying.
- Stay informed of industry trends to ensure DV’s social solutions remain a valuable solution and continuously refine pre-launch strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Minimum of 4 years of social platform experience either, in a client-facing role or at an advertising agency activating social platforms within the advertising technology or marketing industry
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic client onboarding programs
- Strong understanding of programmatic & social advertising concepts, platform restrictions, content adjacency risks, industry specific measurement needs, and campaign optimization strategies.
- Proficiency across platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and similar social ad-serving tools.
- Programmatic experience, specifically on YouTube is also preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and deliverables
- Strong analytical capabilities and high proficiency in Excel; experience with additional analytics tools is a plus
- Consultative skill set: able to simplify technical concepts and empower customer understanding.
- Deep empathy and strong customer-centric mindset
- Ability to work independently, with strong time management skills to support clients
- Experience collaborating in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $77,000 to $145,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
