Sr. Technical Program Manager

NYC Global HQ

Sr. Technical Program Manager

Quote to Cash • AI Initiatives

Location: Hybrid (NYC HQ)

Department: Engineering Operations & Program Management

Reports To: VP, Program Management & Engineering Operations

About the Role

DoubleVerify is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the delivery of our most strategically important initiatives at the intersection of AI and Quote to Cash (QTC). Reporting to the VP of Program Management & Engineering Operations and working in close partnership with our Chief AI Officer, you will own end-to-end program execution for AI-powered initiatives that transform the full revenue lifecycle — from opportunity management and CPQ through order management, billing, and revenue recognition.

In this role, you are the connective tissue between engineering teams and the broader organization. You will coordinate complex, cross-departmental timelines, surface risks early, and ensure AI-driven programs are delivered with the rigor and visibility that high-impact initiatives demand. While QTC and AI initiatives will be your primary focus, you will occasionally support additional high-priority programs within the CIO organization, bringing the same structured approach to delivery across a broader range of technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical program management expertise, comfort operating in AI-first environments, and a track record of aligning engineering delivery with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

AI Initiative Program Delivery

  • Own end-to-end program execution for AI-driven QTC initiatives, coordinating timelines and delivery across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Partner closely with the Chief AI Officer to translate AI strategy into structured, executable programs with clear milestones, owners, and dependencies
  • Drive project kickoffs for each program phase, ensuring engineering teams and cross-departmental stakeholders are aligned on scope, timelines, and commitments
  • Manage dependencies across engineering teams and downstream systems, proactively identifying and resolving blockers before they impact delivery
  • Establish and own a meeting cadence that brings together key stakeholders across engineering, product, and business functions to maintain alignment, surface risks, and drive decisions
  • Lead go/no-go meetings and coordinate validation activities ahead of AI feature releases and QTC system go-lives
  • Provide regular written and verbal status updates that combine engineering delivery data with qualitative risk assessment for executive and stakeholder audiences

Engineering Delivery Oversight

  • Maintain project visibility by ensuring Jira reflects the current program plan and building plans for stakeholder transparency
  • Update timelines weekly, incorporating engineering capacity, QA, infrastructure, and all release considerations
  • Track and manage capitalization compliance for AI and QTC engineering workstreams, completing briefs on time and supporting audit inquiries
  • Support quarterly planning cycles by working with engineering leads to size dependencies, set realistic commitments, and get initiatives into the planning system
  • Hold engineering teams accountable to planning deadlines and ensure sprint commitments align with program milestones

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience in software development environments
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, cross-departmental programs with multiple engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of QTC process flows and how they intersect with CRM, ERP, billing, and revenue recognition systems
  • Comfort operating in AI-driven program environments — experience coordinating delivery of AI or ML-powered products is a strong plus
  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional programs on time with strong stakeholder alignment
  • Strong project management skills including timeline development, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication
  • Expert proficiency with Jira, including plans, dashboards, and automation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for engineering teams and executive audiences alike
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating delivery of AI or ML initiatives in a product or platform engineering context
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, or similar QTC platforms
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and their integration with CRM and billing platforms
  • Experience with SaaS billing models, subscription management, or ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Background in AdTech, MarTech, or digital media
  • Experience using AI tools for automation, reporting, or program management workflows
  • Background working with distributed or remote engineering teams
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications

What Success Looks Like

  • AI-driven QTC programs are delivered on time with clear engineering accountability and cross-departmental alignment at every phase
  • The Chief AI Officer and VP of Program Management have real-time, trusted visibility into program status, risks, and delivery trajectory
  • Engineering teams operate with clear priorities, minimal coordination friction, and realistic sprint commitments tied to program milestones
  • Risks and blockers are surfaced proactively — never surprises — and resolved through structured, cross-functional coordination
  • You are the person every stakeholder turns to for a clear, accurate answer on where a program stands and what comes next

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined by a number of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role, based on the qualifications set forth in the job description, is between $100,000.00 - $200,000.00. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.

The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.

Not-so-fun fact: Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of job criteria, women and other marginalized groups tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes but you’re not sure that you check every box, apply anyway!

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
