What You’ll Do:
- Work on OpenSlate’s platform to analyze over a billion videos and 4M creators across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and more.
- Designing and building scalable systems that can collect, store, retrieve and transform data coming from a variety of different sources including APIs, Postgres, Solr, and S3.
- Designing and implementing maintainable APIs that support company end-user applications.
- Selecting appropriate data storage and retrieval methods and technologies.
- Designing data-structures and optimizing queries that deal with millions of rows of data.
- Creating reusable and maintainable code, automated tests, and clear documentation.
- Optimizing code to run in a high-performance real-time environment that generates billions of events a day.
- Write, deploy, and support software systems in our production environment.
- Collaborating across engineering, product and data teams to solve technical and business issues.
- May telecommute part time from home
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupational
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $179,982 and $202,000 per Year. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
